“We’ve typically meticulously restored these prior to sale. This takes around 8 hours, which isn’t a long time for a vintage synth, but is a very significant investment for an item of such low resale value compared to the items we normally deal in. A decent chunk of that time is due to the foam layer moog put in between the front panel and circuit board. This layer always deteriorates over the years and crumbles and turns into a tar-like substance thats a serious pain to clean up. We then need to make neopren replacements for the original foam dust shields. We also usually remove the keys and clean them, clean the key bed, the key contacts, chemically clean all faders and switches (or often just replace them all with new ones), replace power line capacitors, recalibrate and do whatever else is needed to make our Rogues perfect.
We paid more than usual for this Rogue because the seller insisted it was in perfect working order. We’ve bought lots of gear that sellers unintentionally (and sometimes intentionally!) misrepresented. Much to our surprise, this unit did arrive in pretty much perfect working order. Well, with the exception of the oscillator 1 volume fader. It sometimes crackles a little while being moved or the signal drops out if the fader is moved in a certain way, but once released in its final position, it registers just fine. To remedy this, we would need to go in and take the time to remove that annoying foam layer and replace it, at which point we might as well refurbish the whole thing. This isn’t something the person who sold it to us reported, and we’re sure that the vast majority of Rogues out there that are supposedly working perfectly but havent been fully refurbished have more imperfections than this one, whether or not they’ve been disclosed.” Click here to visit listing on eBay

Anyone that is searching for this synth likely knows what it is capable of. If not, look it up on Wikipedia or in the moog archives. It’s the real deal.
This is a fantastic synth, one of a kind, and in impeccable condition. Everything is functional, to my knowledge. It spent most of its life on a shelf in an audio recording studio (owned by a friend of a friend) in Cleveland, Ohio, and was largely unused. It was used in a live performance by the FiveOne Experimental Orchestra in Cleveland around 2016. Beyond this, I know little of its history. I have owned it for about 7-8 years of its 40-year life. This is a rare find in general, but especially in this condition.

“This is an Original Mini Moog Model D, not a Reissue Model. I am the Original Owner and have taken very good care of this beauty. It has been well maintained and everything is in working order. As you will see in the pictures, it is in Excellent physical condition. This Mini Moog is the highly desirable Walnut Finish. There is some slight yellowing on some keys but that just adds to the character of this Vintage Instrument!

It was recently serviced by a Licensed Moog Technician to replace the entire Key Contact Pads, repaired/serviced the Oscillators to restore stable tuning, calibrated and thoroughly cleaned.

Moog Opus 3 from my personal collection of synths. It is in really nice condition, works perfectly and sounds great – a real collectors item and a very lovely synth to own and play.
A common fault on some of the old Moogs like Opus 3 and Moog Rogue is they get the dreaded black gunk from the old black dust sheet that decays over time and ends up on the sliders and it all has to be removed. This has already been done on this unit, so you won’t have any problems with the dreaded gunk as it has already been sorted out. All leys work fine with no clanky keys. “You are bidding on a vintage Moog Three Band Parametric Equalizer, Model MKPE. This rack-mounted unit was only professionally used and is in working condition. As with a lot of vintage synths, the tuning can wander a little, but if you stay on top of it, it’ll work absolutely fine.
The pitch bend needs a service as it gets jumpy when nudged to the left, which is why I’m selling this cheaper than most other Rogues you’ll find online.

“Very valuable synthesizers are now in stock!
SONIC SIX, a duophonic analog synthesizer sold by moog from 1972 to 1979.
This model was released as a model for school education, and its biggest feature is its trunk-shaped chassis. The top part contains the synthesizer and the bottom part contains the keyboard.
Speakers are also built in, and the sound can be played by opening the lid and connecting the power supply.
Originally designed as an educational model, it is more like a voice synthesizer/oscillator than a keyboard, requiring a knack for sound creation. It has two modulation systems and a ring modulator, and can be used for duophonic or two-note polyphony, which is rare for MOOG. Of course, it also has outputs, and if you connect it to a high-quality speaker, it can reproduce the strong bass sound characteristic of analog synthesizers.
It has been maintained by a specialist.
Glissando knob has been replaced. There are repair marks on other knobs.
