“Korg M1 wavetable synthesizer keyboard. Up for sale is a Korg M1 synthesizer keyboard. The unit will need some restoration work however it is still in playable condition. The middle E flat key needs to have a spring replaced and some of the presets don’t seem to align properly. I was able to toggle through up to 50 preinstalled presets and access almost all the sounds but some of them such as no. 7 (harp) was not accessible and a couple of the others seemed mismatched i.e. the preset no.17 was labeled as chorale but seemed closer to the organ sound made famous by Crystal Waters “Gypsy Woman”. Also several months ago the synh was experiencing some clipping sounds if the volume was turned up too high or if I progressed through the presets too quickly. Thankfully this has seemed to stop but I wanted to make mention of it. The joystick is in good functioning condition. The edit and demo mode also seem to be working as should. I’m not intimately familiar with this synth so haven’t done extensive testing so their could be something else going on that I didn’t catch.” Click here to visit listing on eBay

It was gigged until the advent of the DX7, spent some time in my studio, then the loft and almost forgotten! it never gets used and it really is time to part with it.

“I have owned this beautiful vintage Korg since 1983. It is still in fully working order, with a few scratches and minor damage to the frame. Everything is original, including the mucic stand. “The MiniKorg-700 is a 50 year old, monophonic analog keyboard from Korg. Korg’s first ever synthesizer. It is a dual-oscillator synth, with a very analog bass sound, thud, thump, growl or squeal. The wood side-panels and large primary colored knobs and sliders are a sure sign of vintage status. It has been used by The Cure, ComaTeens, Kitaro, Human League, N-Trance, Vangelis, the Normal, Stevie Wonder, The Cars and Paul Hardcastle.”

“This is a used vintage Korg MS2000R Analog Modeling Synthesizer. These are used for music production and more. This unit is a “Made in Japan” unit with serial number 004156.
It’s powered by a 9-volt DC power supply (center negative). I did not have the original OEM power supply but sourced one that is center-negative and will work with the unit. Once powered on (turn the power/volume knob) the unit powers on properly and the display/backlight are readable. I connected the unit to an external amplifier and was able to pass audio through it with no issues. I’m not an expert on these, but I was able to use the buttons on the unit as a keyboard and have the synth-sounds come out of it. It was rather cool as well!
The unit otherwise looks to be in good shape, no major rack rash or mounting damage as it seems the unit may have only been used outside of a rack. No major scratching on the top face of the unit, although there are some scratches on the bottom which wouldn’t be visible unless you looked on the bottom.” Click here to visit listing on eBay
