” Up for sale is my vintage Roland JX-3P analog polyphonic synthesizer. It’s extremely clean and in very good cosmetic condition. I’ve owned it for about five years now. The synth is also fully functional. I just had it serviced by a reputable synth tech here in Phoenix, and the following work was done:
a faulty voice chip (IR3109) was replaced;
a new patch memory battery was installed;
a new, three-prong grounded power cable was installed;
a chipped key was replaced; and
the unit was calibrated to factory specs.
I spent close to $250 for the work, including the voice chip, which I sourced myself. I can e-mail you the receipt if you’re interested.
You’re getting a lot of value here. Compare this unit to others those you see on eBay, where sellers are asking premium prices for JX-3Ps that are either totally beat up or aren’t working. Or, if you find them relatively cheaply, they’re usually from Japanese sellers and you have to pay $200 just for shipping.” Click here to search for synths on eBay
