I purchased my Rowlands JV 1080 19 ” Rack mountable Synthesizer used back in 2016.
I use this module in conjunction with an 88 key MIDI controller.
I was able to obtain a piano expansion card and install it in this unit. It became my primary piano sound when recording.
Unfortunately I’m too fond of this expansion card so it is not included in the sale. THIS 1080 HAS NO EXPANSION CARDS ! You can obtain this card from eBay along with other expansion cards. There are four slots hidden under the panel you see on the top. Remove the eight screws ,pull up the panel ,plug in the card and you’re ready to go. Even without the cards this unit has a lot of sounds in it. I use this JV 1080 it in conjunction with my Rowlands JV 2080.” Click here to visit listing on eBay
