“Most functions can be achieved, though some require creative button and knob use. Something is off with the wiring, so this is being sold for parts or not working. I’m the second owner and bought it after some knobs and buttons had been replaced and changed out, and the AC cord and power button replaced. Sound output is good and the brain seems to be good.

As shown in photos, not all buttons or screws are original. Features tested and seem to be working properly include: Tempo, Intro/Fill In, Auto fill in Measures, Accent, Volume, Auto Fill in Manual, Shuffle, Crash, Start/Stop, and Power On/Off.

The light is out for the “Register” button, though the button functions.

Korg Polysix with Kiwisix Upgrade

“All functions working as they should, additional mods all pro installed and add a ton of functionality to the synth and improve playabilty.

Kiwisix CPU board, adds MIDI IN/OUT, full CC control, and tons of additional features that are accessed through the panel controls, the full manual can be easily accessed online which gives a full explanation of all extra features.
Polysex mod, very interesting modification that adds a much needed pitch envelope to the polysix, as well as mod section that allows you to dial in vintage ‘warble’ all the way up to total harmonic chaos. Can learn more about this from Tubbutec website.
Stereo pan mod, allows you to pan each of the six voices as far left or right as you like with onboard trimmers that can be easily adjusted to taste, similar to oberheim, stereo jacks have been installed in back panel below main output. The stereo output is tapped before the effect section, which allows you to record the clean stereo signal along with an effected fx mono signal for more flexibility in the studio.
Full service manual tuning, anyone who has attempted tuning one of these knows that it is a labor of love and takes a LONG time to dial in just right, rest assured the time was taken to get all voices very tight to spec

“I’ve had this unit since the early 90s, solely in my studio. I haven’t had it plugged in for about 10 years now. The power cable is missing, sadly, but I also don’t dare try to power it up even with a cheater cable as my tech advised it will need a full recap to be safe to do so. And I believe them. Bad filter caps can take down any unit, never mind one of this value.

Last time we used it, it worked. The front switches were, as expected, testy. The sliders, aside from one, have all sheared off (but can be moved with a screwdriver, gently.) The keys and pressure/aftertouch worked, but definitely needed a good cleaning, as they were sometimes not respoding. The very top key sticks. There is some obvious cosmetic stuff, but hey, it’s how old??

No slider cap on the one fully intact slider, too.

“Original Realistic Moog Concertmate MG-1 from 1981 being sold AS-IS!

Unit powers on and sounds can be made while messing with the filter switches/modulation and tapping the keys but it is pretty unstable, unpredictable and needs to be either repaired or broken down for parts.

I purchased this a long time ago and had it partially repaired about 6+ years ago. Had both oscillators working and the polyphonic organ working but still needed the noise generator fixed amongst other things. Put it in storage, forgot about it and recently took it out to find its acting strange again. Needs some TLC.

The black sticky foam was removed before I purchased it. Unit is missing all original slider caps.

“A true legend, this Mini has the sought-after old oscillator boards which sound incredible.

All PCB’s have had all electrolytic capacitors replaced with high quality new stock replacements.

All VCO trimmers have been replaced with bourns multi turn trimmers to allow for very tight pitch calibration. The trimmers are still accessible through the back trimmer chassis holes for easy on the go tuning when necessary as originally designed. In addition, all the pitch cv summing resistors have been replaced with super tight tolerance matched metal film resistors, the cv opamps were upgraded and the tempco resistors for each of the 3 oscillators are now thermally coupled to their respective 3046 transistor arrays. These upgrades drastically improve the pitch stability of the Minimoog, while preserving the warmth and character of the old revision oscillator boards. NO modifications to the audio path were performed.

All edge board connectors were thoroughly cleaned and treated.

New bushings were installed in the keybed, action is nice and smooth and triggering is consistent across the full keybed.

I have had this a long long time, and over the years it has seen more action than Axel Rose.

Over the years I have had hard Red Oak sides put on, as the chipboard that was originally there was just falling to bits as they all do.

I have not used it for over a year, but it is fully functioning. Just needs some switch cleaner in the volume knob as it is a little scratchy when turned. With time and use this should dissipate.

Also, where the modulation/Pitch bend joystick is, the panel does move a bit. It has done this since the sides were replaced but it does not affect playing or using of the joystick. It could use some shorter screws in it I think. Just never bothered with it as it did not detract from its use. Just thought I would mention it as someone may want to fix that.

“Korg 800-DV Maxi-Korg Synthesizer. Currently not working. It doesnt power up at all and the protection fuse is blown. Cosmetically this synth is very good except for the side wood (original plywood) which has many chips and is delaminating. This synth received a full overhaul by vintage standards in japan about a year and a half ago including a full recap and cleaning and supposedly the power supply was set up for north american voltages. It was working and sounded great until recently when it abruptly stopped working. Prior to the current problem all functions worked. If you have a good tech that can get this back up and running it will be a great purchase for you. “Unit has one broken key as seen in pictures. Unit DOES power on using a generic power cable. Audio output is clean. There seems to be an issue with the polyphony or maybe one of the chips as sound does not not play 100% of the time when hitting a key. Floppy disc drive is very janky and needs to be replaced with a new one (or probably just get upgrade with a Gotek instead). Sometimes the floppy takes a few tries to read the OS. “Here is a vintage PAiA Gnome analog synth from the 1970s. These were sold as kits and have a bit of a cult following. This one has been serviced recently with new capacitors, a new Trigger button, new LM3900 IC, and some general cleaning. I am including a binder with a full set of printed user and assembly manuals plus the original articles from Radio Electronics magazine.

The Gnome is in good working condition and makes all sorts of cool sounds and noises. These run on two 9v batteries (not included) and have Audio Out and Trigger Out jacks. There is a conductive plastic strip with a stylus for pitch control. The strip is in OK condition and has been cleaned, but it is not perfect.
