“This keyboard has the original, more desirable metal casing. Recently serviced. It works well and is in good condition. There is a dent on the left side (as shown in picture #4). There are currently no patches stored in the memory. Like most people (except Brian Eno) I don’t know how to program the DX7 and can’t test the memory; however, the battery was replaced a few years ago. ” 1984 Sequential Circuits Six-Trak in great condition, serial #245. I bought it from a sixth form college last year as the department that owned it was shutting down. I’ve since replaced the memory battery and reloaded the factory presets. The synth is now fully functional with all 6 voices, filter, LFO, amp, sequencer, stack, arpeggiator, wheels* etc working perfectly, and makes some really great sounds in poly, unison and stack modes. It works with a foot controller though I’m not including one.

“I recently acquired this from the original owner. I was able to load disks and the samples seem to work fine. All keys seem to be working as well. I was able to use the Arpegiator and Filters. Since I’m not an expert in the keyboard I’m not sure if it’s exactly 100% functional. Sold As-Is. “* Superb shape; low hours, no issues with keyboard, knobs, buttons or controls, displays or audio outputs. Fully rebuilt from ground up. Original owner. Home use only. Never gigged, leased, rented, used in studio, or abused in any way.
* Couple of very minor barely-there nicks in the wood side and back panel simply from pulling on/off a keyboard stand over the years, but otherwise about as minty fresh as you can find. Lived its entire life in ONE room, so very well kept.
I am a long time synth guy, built up huge studio prior to 2010; started selling off some gear once I got sick. Downsizing to more compact “small setup” vs having the giant collector room of classic synth gear. Smoke free, pet free, home studio.

“Lovely little JEN SX1000 that has seen a major refurb to get it into really nice condition.
All the electrolytic capacitors have been replaced with new but most importantly all the horrible old crackly potentiometers have gone to be replaced by very high quality new items. None of the pots make any crackles anymore and the JEN works just how it should. New knobs have been fitted to match the new potentiometer spindles and a headphone amplifier has been added to allow practice without an amp.
The SX1000 was many peoples first synthesiser back in the early 80’s and its sounds still hold a fond place in the hearts of many. They used to be everywhere but are getting increasingly hard to find these days.

“Selling my Casio CZ-1000 complete with power supply and patch sheets.
Synth works well apart from two problems that could do with attention at some point..
Two (2) of the keys are broken but its a mechanical failure with the spring so should be easily fixed.
In addition the power supply is wobbly but works when lead is carefully placed inside.
Apart from these 2 obvious problems the synth is in perfect working order…!
I have been using a sequencer to play it rather than the keys as the keyboard can be played via the MIDI.
Cheap sale as the keyboard requires two easy yet annoying repairs, used condition but not too bad, nothing major in the way of scratches or dents.

“Kawai K4 synthesiser, does need some attention. There are 3 sound cards with the keyboard, although I think there are only sounds on 2 of them, there also only appears to be 1 sound when you play the keyboard with no card in, (may need the factory sounds reinstalling). There are also some keys that do not work, and these are marked on the photo’s. I am fairly certain that I have the user manual, but will check and update this listing, (it is freely available on the internet if I haven’t).
