I bought them around the mid eighties & they have served me well over the years during my younger days. “The Moog Prodigy is a simple yet surprisingly versatile two oscillator analog synthesizer. Designed to be easy to use but still sound incredible, this is a perfect synth for beginners and experienced synthesists alike!
This particular Prodigy has just been on the bench for a full service. All pots and switches were cleaned, the keyboard was stripped down and contacts overhauled and a full calibration of the oscillators, filter and vca. There is some wear and tear on the side cheeks and some of the paint has been smudged over the years. I’ve tried to show as much as possible in the pictures. “Great looking overall condition with typical signs of wear for the age. Inside looks great. Light wear/surface marks/sticker peeling/some key marks and discoloration/one slider knob missing/pitch strip has a little tear. When plugged in it lights up and produces sound but the sound is noisy. When moving switches around noise can be modified but with background noise still present. “Selling this classic synth because I just don’t use it anymore. It’s got scratches and scuffs but everything is functional. It’s also missing a couple screws on the sides that connect the hood to the wooden foundation, so the metallic hood wiggles if you try to lift it. “Roland S-750 Digital Sampler
This has come from a clearance job so I do not know it’s history or indeed what exactly it is.
It does power up and the display comes up. There was a floppy disc inserted in it. It did load this but asked for another disk. Not sure if this is correct or not (See photos for display messages). I did not go further than this so can’t say whether it works or not.
There are a few scratches to the paint but nothing is dented or broken. All knobs etc are present. There is one small screw missing on the top cover but there are lots of other screws so nothing is left.

“I have had this since 1989-90. Used on loads of professional recordings in the 90s.
Machine works well. With power supply.
Great sounds, and this machine covers all styles. We used it a lot programming percussion – it always came off as very authentic. Great electronica and real kit sounds, including the heavy sounds for metal etc. Much preferred this to the drummer otherwise known as Roland Arate.
