“You are looking at a chance to own a unique / modified Yamaha FB-01. The FB-01 is part of the famous FM series such as the DX7.
Cosmetics: This is one of the nicer units I have seen, apart for a few specs the black paint is in excellent space. All 8 buttons work with ease.
Modifications: Updated audio signal path with hi-fi op-amps, and a battery holder for quick future battery replacement with no soldering required.
All Yamaha FB-01 units have incorrect parts that were installed straight out of the factory. The manufacturer installed these lower quality parts despite what is written on the original schematics, reducing it’s sound quality potential, and it is noticeable like day and night. The modifications installed on this unit unlocks the higher frequencies, better known for the famous bright and sharp sound of FM synthesis that Yamaha initially developed. In addition I installed superior quality OpAmps that not only reduce noise with ultra low distortion but also boosts volume to a reasonable range. To save time in the future, I also installed sockets for the OpAmp chips, just in case there are any other low-noise replacements to try out (note: I do not recommend the replacement of the OpAmps unless you absolutely already know what you’re getting yourself into).”

“This is a beautiful early 70’s Tonus branded ARP Odyssey Mark 1, the most desirable of the Odysseys! It is in excellent, Mint minus shape for its age- you won’t find a nicer example of these fantastic analog synths. It has been used lightly in a smoke-free private recording studio. There are very minor signs of use, to be expected from its age. All functions work fine. Occasionally I noticed a little noise when moving the sliders. A tech advised me that this was a simple fix of spraying the sliders internally but I decided not to do it as it wasn’t a problem for me. Two of the colored slider covers are cracked. These little plastic covers can be found on Ebay and in no way affect the functions of the sliders.These Odysseys are fantastic sounding synths- huge, warm, analog sound and it’s no wonder they were embraced by many rock artists like Joe Walsh, ELO, Steve Miller, etc. as well as Jazz artists like Chick Corea and Herbie Hancock. This synth is in fine working condition and in beautiful looking shape. Because of its vintage, I am selling this “As Is”. Item will be packed carefully and double boxed. “Alesis A6 Andromeda Keyboard Synthesizer FREE SHIPPING. The keyboard is in used condition with some cosmetic blemishes on it (see photos.). One of the panels on the side of the unit has come off and the mounting brackets cracked but its only cosmetic. I took 2 photos one assembled and the other of the extent of the blemish(see photos.). There are a few knobs that are missing but the knob input still works it is only the top knob cover that is missing. It is also missing one of the bottom “feet” bottoms (see photos.). I have opened the inside and took a few photos so you can see there is no damage internally to the mother board or any of the circuitry. I have tested all the keys and they work perfect. There are also a few scratches on the top of the unit but again are strictly cosmetic. The LCD is nice and bright. The knobs are all in good shape and work perfect. The two wheels are in great shape as well with great resistance so they haven’t been used too much.”
