“This is my early Wasp synth – it is in very good cosmetic condition although a small piece of the plastic has come away from the front of the synth and one control knob cap has been lost. It all works and the knobs all function however it could do with a service as oscillator two does not follow the keyboard pitch and plays as a drone. Oscillator one is fine however. Even so the synth is capable of making some great lead and bass sounds. UK only. It’s delicate so pickup preferred.”

“I’m selling my vintage Micromoog that I’ve owned for about 40 years. I’ve used it mostly for left-hand bass and wired in a jack on the bottom to accommodate a Yamaha BP-1 bass pedal unit (13 notes, lower C to one octave up). The keyboard was rebuilt in late 2015 with all new rubber bushings using the proper Dow Corning lubricant. The keyboard action feels like new. The potentiometers and switches were cleaned at the same time. Everything works as expected and the unit sounds great.
Note the following:
1) The ribbon controller has a small tear near the bottom as can be seen in the photos, but it works fine and doesn’t affect the functionality.
2) The white rectangular area to the left of the Moog logo (on the back) is from an adhesive label I had there at one time. I wasn’t able to get it off with a mild adhesive remover, but a stronger one may work.”

” Here’s a Moog Opus 3 String Synth. I think they are under-rated when compared to the Arp Omni, Solina and Rolands.. The Moog features a much more extreme bandpass or hi-pass filter which gives a ton of string options, and the chorus section is outstanding. The brass is quite good too, with pretty detailed controls for tailoring the sound in addition to it’s preset. The opus’ sound shaping controls go much farther than any other string synth I’ve come across, which are typically just attack and sustain like the solina..
I’ve included a video of me testing out the controls.. I play through each key with a tone, and then use the string section, its bandpass filter and chorus, followed by adding in organ sounds, and finally experimenting with the brass preset and customizing it with filter and envelope changes…
I couldn’t find any issues and everything functioned as normal after it warmed up, for the first minute or so after you turn the unit on, the Brass section filter was sluggish to function, but it corrects itself after 5 minutes. occasionally a slider would give a little bit of noise which I’m assuming is dirt or wear on the pot. Cosmetically it’s in pretty good shape. See the pics for full documentation of end caps and control panel.”

“Bought in 2002. Beautiful sound, almost human sounding! Played it a lot for many years, then put aside, to be played only occasionally, and then not at all. Stored in temp and humidity controlled studio. When I brought it out a few years ago, there were some problems that had developed. The initial gain control seems stuck on the release envelope. Its not a bad quality if you keep playing, but after you finish a note, the sound doesn’t die out. I have remedied this by hooking up a Moogerfooger filter module, and turning the initial gain down. This way I can have the beautiful Roland filter as well as the Moog fatness to switch back and forth between. Several of the sliders are noisy also. The 2 that are needed to tweak sounds the most-the filter cutoff and filter env amount-are especially noticeable. The rest not too bad. It could use a good cleaning. Everything else works just fine, and the cosmetic condition is very good. Its a very cool looking synth-Rolands first ones had a future retro look about them. Did not come with a manual, but its pretty self explanatory.”

“Well-loved Roland Sh-09 for sale. Professionally serviced when I purchased it a couple of years ago and it’s been played relatively little at home and has been and packed away for the last year.
As you can see from the photos it’s missing two slider caps, has some wearing on the panel, and has had key repairs done to it prior to me purchasing it. On the plus side, at 35+ years old, it works beautifully. It sounds like magic and plays like a dream. This is surprisingly versatile for a monosynth and you can feed the output back into it for some really screaming leads and bass. ”

” Up for sale is the legendary Roland JD 800 synthesizer. The unit has the infamous red glue problem that has rendered the keys unplayable but this issue does not affect the module at all and as a sound source/module it works as intended. Cosmetically the synth is in very good condition as can be seen in the pictures and all the knobs/buttons/faders and functions work as they should (this can be seen in the demo video included with the listing).
I have owned this keyboard for the past few years and have never had an issue with it as a sound module/synthesizer. What I have always done is use the main keyboard I have in my studio to send out MIDI (which I normally do with my other synths anyway) so the red glue problem on the JD 800 has never been an issue for me.
As a matter of fact if you are handy enough there are plenty of instructions online on how to MOD the unit into a sound module only (as shown in the last picture) but in reality I never had the need nor desire to do it to mine.
This is a perfect opportunity for someone to get their hands on working JD 800 at a fraction of what they are fetching if they can live without the keys. ”

“Juno 106 programmable synth.
For someone new to this keyboard here are the issues that are common and easily fixed.
Needs #6 voice chip replaced. These are available on ebay for under 100$ new but there are ways to bring these chips back to life easily found on the net.
Needs a new battery. These are common watch batteries or I’ve read you can use a common 3.6v computer battery. The old battery clip is removed from the board and wired for a new clip to get mounted in a more convenient location.
#2 patch button is flakey and so are the key transpose and poly buttons.

“This is a unique vintage Korg Maxi-Korg synthesizer. This synth is also known as the Korg 800DV. This Univox K3 was sold in the US under the name Maxi-Korg K3. The power of the Maxi-Korg lay in the way it could create and play sounds. In essence, it was two Korg 700S synths in a single box, so you could treat it as two distinct synths, creating two different sounds, and then playing them independently. Some other mid-’70s synths allowed you to play two notes, but these used the same patch parameters for both. Only the Maxi-Korg could produce two sounds that you could play as a composite, or as two independent synths. Yet this was only half the story, because the 800DV allowed you to allocate the voices in a huge variety of ways. This made it possible to program more realistic, more expressive, or more off-the-wall sounds than was possible on other monosynths. The Maxi-Korg was, and remains, one of the most impressive, flexible and articulate synths ever built.
As the original owner, I know this Korg synthesizer to be in excellent condition with no known problems.”

“The keyboard is in full working condition with one exception. The spring on one of F# keys does not function and neither does the key. The cover on the function keys is cracked in four places but the keys beneath do themselves work. In both cases see the photos I have included of these defects.
