” Very good cosmetic condition for its age, one missing knob and the silver part of another knob is missing. These can be found online on ebay for less than $15 a piece. Some scratches and scuffing but still a nice Minimoog. Functional but may require a tuning to be in tip top shape which is advisable when purchasing any synth that will be transported far from its original location. Also included is a full on Kenton MIDI Retrofit kit which cost me close to $400. I never got around to installing it but it would make this Mini totally complete. So that kit is unused, uninstalled, and fully complete. Also, this is the NEW OSC version as the serial number is above 10XXX which greatly improves the tuning stability of these beautiful instruments. Sad to see her go but it is what it is. “This is certainly a blast from the past that we’d love to find a good home! This was recently serviced by our technician, who re-cap’d it, recalibrated it, and repaired and replaced a broken switch. We plugged it into a keyboard amp and all the controls are working and functioning as we believe they should. We are not experts in these but everything seems to check out. “You know what it is. This one needs to be serviced, all sounds sound great, it just takes some extra pressing of the bottons. Powers on no problem, tempo ,start/ stop work. Even some old programs on the bottom row. Main flaw is it will need new bottoms/ contact…not a technician. I was able to sample all the sounds perfectly from it with the functions it does preform. I’m sure someone more tech savvy could make this machine 100. Please no refunds!!!! Not all bottons function!!! But all sound is there!! “Up for auction is a Roland Alpha Juno-1. Cosmetically, it’s not too good looking but it is 100% functional. – Some small sections where the metal has rusted, though nothing too major (See left hand side in pictures).
– The button on the ‘Key Transpose’ function is missing and needs replacing, however it still works when pressed.
– The switcher needs replacing on the ‘Octave Transpose’ function, but the mechanism underneath still works, you just have to stick your finger in to use it.

The synth is in overall fair condition (7 out of 10, in my opinion) A bit of wear to the surface finish around the cursor buttons – see photos.
