“I bought this synth at a yard sale a year or so ago. I didn’t realize it at the time of purchase, but at some point it was used in a smokey environment. I noticed the smell once I got it home. I don’t notice the smell any more, and everything still works with it, so I can’t say for sure if being in that environment effected it or not.

“This has been sitting in my closet in its case for 25 years. It still works, and case is included, but the case is so old that the foam is disintegrating. Will need new foam. Plugged it in, and it still sounds just as sweet as it did when I used it in the 1980s. As usual, I did more damage cleaning it than I did using it. I broke off a switch (see photo), and one of the keys is sticking up, but still plays. No idea how that happened. I looked for the switch in the vacuum bag, but I gave up realizing I was digging through the trash for a switch lever. I literally haven’t opened the case in a decade. I don’t need to sell it, but I’m looking for someone who needs it and will use it. If nobody buys it at a reasonable, I’ll donate it to my son’s school.”

“Used but not abused Roland SH-101 synth. Check out photos and the linked youtube video to see it in action. Comes with power adapter. Photos document condition – – a few scratches here and there, some adhesive remnants on the side (probably removable with GooGone) but not unreasonable for a synth of this age. We have not done any cleaning to the potentiometers and thus there is some minor scratches/crackles when adjusting the volume, etc. Incredible vintage sounds. Seems to be fully functional, but we are not experts on synths and thus this item is being sold AS IS, no returns or refunds.”

“Selling my Korg DW8000. It’s a great 80’s hybrid digital/analog synth that can make a bunch of great sounds, and has a nice built in delay that can also do some chorus like sounds. I replaced a dead save battery in this a few months ago, so you don’t have to worry about all your patches being lost. One of the D#/Eb keys sticks a little bit, but it hasn’t been too much of an issue in my experience performing with it. Only selling because I got a new synth that I use way more. Comes with two power cables.”
