Please refer to the images for further detail of the cosmetics of this unit, it has blemishes on the top which I never noticed until it was slid out of the Studio Keyboard Rack! This Synth has remained in the studio rack since new purchase in 1987 and the sonic performance has not been an issue. This unit works and sounds amazing, I have used it on countless productions Gold/Platinum RIAA certified albums. I love the sounds of the strings, different timbres of drums and space sounds, its so full of sounds the Matrix 1000 has literally 1000 sounds in it but they are full patches and its one of Oberheim’s true true
