“e.This was my Dad’s Korg Polysix Analog synthesizer. This came out in 1981. Even when everyone was moving towards digital equipment in the late 80s, these keyboards still held their own and were highly desirable! Judging by the sale price of other Polysixes here on Marketplace and Ebay, they still are! My dad loved it and took great care of it. I learned that one issue with these keyboards is that eventually the battery expires and they tend to leak acid if not replaced, and that can lead to serious damage to the circuit board where the battery is mounted. I opened it up to have a look and as you can see by the pictures, the battery has not leaked at all. It is possible that my dad was aware of this issue and either replaced it or this battery didn’t burst or leak. My dad is not here to ask so I leave that up to you. New lithium batteries for this unit cost around $30. This keyboard is in great condition for its age – inside and out. In one of the pictures you’ll notice that 1 of the knobs is not original. That was just the picture, I have ordered the original knob and that will be included in the sale.” Click here to visit listing on eBay
