“Up for sale is a Korg Poly 800 from the early 80s. It works but has a few issues, at some point, someone removed the write “program enable/disable” switch from the rear of the unit
and moved it to the top of the unit in the form of a mini toggle. It still works to save patches, but has to be massaged just right. All the original patches have been wiped clean, so every available patch (save a few that I’ve programmed) will need to be created to your liking and saved. There is also an added RCA plug and knob control (don’t seem to affect anything). All the keys, modulation stick (awesome) and editing functions, adjustment controls seem to work fine. I have not tried any sequencing or MIDI. Basically, this synth works but is not quite in fully working factory condition. It may need repair to fully perform as intended and is being sold as-is as a project, or for parts. There are fresh batteries installed so all patches created have the ability to be saved. Thanks for looking!” Click here to visit listing on eBay
