Modified to accept two Internal 3V coin batteries, rather than the C batteries on the back… wired in parallel, so voltage stays 3V but maximum Ah is increased — this is a significant upgrade because when replacing the batteries, you can change one at a time, so that you NEVER lose your patches when changing batteries unlike how it works with a stock Poly-800 with the C cells (which are connected in series, so when one battery is removed the ENTIRE patch bank is lost)
Comes with hybrid case, mono cable (for dumping patches to tape/flashing synth with patches), power cable, 2 midi cables, ORIGINAL PATCH BANK TAPE (note: the patch bank tape doesn’t seem to carry a strong enough signal to flash the synth with patches.
