A warning is shown when you turn it on and it won’t remember any changes to sounds programmed in the internal memory or sequences recorded with the builtin music workstation capabilities until this is done. (2) Once recently it failed to work at all and the display just blinked on and off and no sound was produced. This solved itself somehow, possibly a result of allowing the capacitors to discharge. If that is the case, the synth may need service at some point soon to replace bad capacitors, which is a common or even expected problem in vintage synths. Or it may also be due to a loose ribbon cable, another common fixable issue with these synths. Otherwise it works fine, including all buttons and keys, both synth and sequencer. I played with it for several hours before preparing this listing.
