“This synth was tested and working perfectly, but then was shipped and now there is a buzzing tone playing over all the patches. The buzz changes in timbre when you change patch, and settings but is present regardless of patch. It might be a problem with one of the voices, but I can not say for sure, and am about to move across the country, so I do not have time to fix. This is an original DX7 from Japan and uses 100V but works fine on standard USA voltage of 120V.
Like most (if not all) DX7’s the aftertouch requires a lot of pressure to activate. So, it’s practically non-functional.

“CONDITION: Perfect operation condition. DETAILS: In June 2018 I installed a new floppy drive, as the belt on the previous floppy had given out, which I understand is a common problem with VL1-Ms. (The new drive is “new old stock; they don’t make them any more.) I understand floppy functionality is pretty much a non-issue unless you’re seriously into voice programming, really, in any case, because once you have all the best voices installed, you don’t need to use the floppy anyway, or you can load and unload via MIDI, but I figured a buyer would want a working drive. I’ve tested the VL1-M since installing the new drive and it works perfectly, and the replacement drive is identical visually to the original as it sits within the front panel. Also — some years ago I managed to break the headphone volume knob. I glued the knob back together (this was all easily done without disassembly; all was outside the enclosure) and it’s worked perfectly ever since; there’s no visual or tactile cue it ever happened. “Hello, this auction is for a Yamaha DX100 FM synthesizer. It’s a classic house and techno synth and sounds awesome. It works and looks great with some minor cosmetic issues – most notably it’s missing the volume slider cap (but the fader still works). There is some light scuffing and wear on the synth but nothing too major. All the buttons and keys work. The battery cover is intact although I’ve never operated it with batteries. The DX100 has been reset to original factory settings, and a Yamaha power adapter is included. The synth will be bubble wrapped and safely packaged with foam, and insured for the amount of the winning purchase. “Cosmetically it is fair/moderate condition (see pictures of actual unit). It’s clean but has some dings. I’m not the original owner, and when it came to me it already had quite a collection of scuffs and scratches. However, the TX7 is built like a tank and these blemishes do not affect it in the slightest. The LCD is clear and easy to read. The sound is as new. The buttons all work fine. The only thing that gives away that this is not a brand new TX7 are the dings in the housing. It’s more than three decades old so it goes with the territory.
It has the v4 operating system. See picture.
The original power cable is included. There is no printed manual, but I will be happy to email you PDF versions after the sale. (I’d link it here but eBay won’t let me.)

“This DX7 is for parts/needs repair. The keyboard powers on and passes signal, you are able to switch through presets, adjust algorithms, and parameters, however, the keyboard seems to have an internal tuning issue. Even when adjusting the master tunes, certain keys seem to always be out. I do not know what is causing this issue and have troubleshot the problem to the best of my capabilities. You’ll not find a better condition CS60. It’s over 40 years old and not perfect but in remarkable condition and everything functions 100%. The touch slider feels practically new. It’s been respected and babied it’s whole life. This one also comes with the original legs, carrying case for the legs, AND expression pedal (I use for volume generally)! One thing to note: one of the 6 voices is pitched slightly flat. This is just the tuning of a pot internally but it didn’t bother me enough to do it. “Up for auction is this Yamaha CS-15 Monophonic Analog Synthesizer. This works but is being sold for parts or repair. Unit has been in storage for a while and some controls need to be cleaned, they don’t turn, so unable to test if they work. The controls that I could test work fine. Unit is clean inside and out. Cosmetically very good but it does have some wear the worst being a chip by the power button. The tops of two controls on the equalizers broke off but they work. ” Offered for sale is a fine vintage Yamaha SY-2 synthesizer. Instrument is in very good condition. Outer case displays several surface scratches from age and usage. Face of keyboard presents light wear and light scratches from normal use. Power cord is fine with no rips or tears. Interface and keys are great with no missing knob or keys. Keys are not loose or chipped (as shown in photos). Unit powers on well, with all the knob, switches, and keys working perfectly. Plugs on back are working as well with no signs of rust. When plugged into a speaker or with headphones, the sound is clean with no static or scratchy sounds. This unit is in full working condition and is basically gig ready. Top case closes as intended and locks, removes with ease. Case also comes with its four leg stands (they screw on fine). Synthesizer has been fully tested in all aspects and performs excellently.
