“The DX100 is a small and portable budget DX synthesizer from Yamaha. Like all DX’s it uses (FM) Frequency Modulation synthesis. It is most renowned for its great analog bass sound (Patch #01) that is awesome for reggae, techno, house, jungle, and acid music styles! The DX100 has mini-keys and only 49 of them. No filters, arpeggiators, effects or programmable controllers are available either. Small pitch and mod wheels in the upper left and guitar strap pegs make this synth usable for live use. “This is a Yamaha DX7 synthesizer keyboard. I know very little about keyboards but here is what I see about this one. It seems to work fine and it sounds good. There is a little “door” on the top right side but there is nothing inside the door. I’m guessing there is some kind of plug in item that can go in there to maybe add more features but I don’t know that for sure. The surface has light general wear as would be expected from age and use, but nothing large or serious. I don’t have a manual to operate it so I can’t guarantee that absolutely every function is working. All the buttons work and each button changes something.
