“Up for auction is this nice Yamaha DX7 FM synth. It appears to be in good condition aside from the big crack in one of the plastic side panels. I plugged it in and turned it on and it makes sound. I only played it briefly through a practice amp so I can’t really comment on the quality of the sound but it sounded nice to me. The buttons certainly change the sound and you can switch between the internal presets and the cartridge that is included. “I bought this synthesizer originally from a music store in suburban Chicago so I am the only person that has owned it.I’ve used it and it works perfectly… However one side of the keyboard is cracked and the other one has a part of the plastic missing on the same . None of the metal on the keyboard is dented and all jacks work perfect. The keyboard comes with a volume pedal and a sustain pedal as well… Also included is an optional programming book which gives you detailed instructions on how to create your own sounds from scratch.
