“Yamaha SY55 in good overall condition with a few minor scratches as can be expected with an instrument from the 90’s.
It is a 2nd generation 16-bit AWM2 system that makes use of wave data digitally at 32kHz or 48 kHz. The SY-55 also has 24-bit internal signal processing capabilities along with high-res 22-bit digital-to-analog converters. Fully working, bought used a couple of months ago but selling due to a new Octatrack in my way.
The unit is fully working, however 3 button caps are missing so I covered them with gaffer tape to not let the dust in, and they work nonetheless.
The missing caps can sometimes be found on Ebay or other synth related spare component websites.
So yes, it’s fully working, real nice sounding (also I opened and cleaned it up the day it arrived so you’re actually getting a nicely cleaned machine)”

“YAMAHA CX5M Msx Computer SFGO5 !+ manuals + Data cable TESTED like fb01 dx21 dx9
I am original owner and bought this when it first came out around 1984.
Importantly, this CX5M comes with the SFG05 sound module installed, which added additional features and allows MIDI in, from any MIDI keyboard, eliminating the need for the YK series keyboards! ( as was the case with the original release with the SFG01, which did require the YK keyboard )
I used it lightly for about a year before storing it carefully in a clean dry closet where it has spent nearly 40 years !
I am not sure where my original data cassettes are, but I can assure you, this 4 op SFG05 synth
Is capable of some wild, monster FM sounds. There should be plenty of free sounds out there still. OR , for the adventurous, you can program your own sounds with a YRM 102 ROM cartridge (not included)
TESTED recently audio output only,, using external MIDI keyboard, utilizing the “call music ” command, and the factory tones played back perfectly.
This unit has a very solid build, and last time I used it to record, before I stored it, all other capabilities functioned perfectly (Cassette storage, ROM cartridges, audio and Video
output)
INCLUDES Two CX5m user manuals which have some wear and slight discoloration, but are intact, (except larger manual is missing its cover (superfluous) , AND the CASSETTE TAPE INTERFACE cable. In my use , the cassette storage and loading was highly reliable, however, there are likely utilities available for sysex storage as well, (at least there used to be ! )
To get video to a TV or monitor , I believe you would need the Yamaha VC-02 cable, or equivalent .
Unit comes in original box with inner styrofoam ends. Box has tear at “handle” and on side, with some age spots and storage discoloration. FACTORY box will be protected and shipped in a slightly larger box for secure shipping.

When I bought this synth ( I’m not an original owner), the batteries that support the memory were dead, so all sounds were lost. later, I installed new batteries and start to create new sounds, and save them. “This is a fantastic synth that I’ve had for over 20 years. It has been gigged quite a bit and various musicians have given it a hard life. I do not have the time to repair it myself so it needs to go to a new home.
Faults of which I am aware:
* There is some damage to the PCB near the master volume controls which I have bridged
* Poly synth control faders jumpy
* Lots of crackle on all the faders
* three faders totally snapped off. (can be moved with a small screwdriver or a large finger nail)

” Yamaha SY77 Vintage Keyboard Synthesizer – NOT WORKING.
Please read the description carefully. I am not the original owner so I don’t know what’s broken or if it can be fixed. A couple weeks ago I bought this from another seller on here who listed it as “tested & working”. When it arrived it clearly didn’t. I then looked at the photos again and realized it wasn’t even the same SY77. I asked the seller if they had perhaps sent the wrong item by mistake, they gave me a full refund but offered no explanation. (You however will receive the exact item pictured, as shown by the serial number printed on the back). To corroborate my story I’ve posted my purchase and refund in the last two pictures, but if you have any doubts about this item, please do not buy.
The synth turns on, but the screen is completely blank. I know the screen is getting power because the contrast knob works, but nothing appears and there is no sound. I checked the power supply and verified all secondary voltages (+5v, -5v, +12v, -12v) work properly. I believe the floppy drive is dead because when I turned it on the red light kept blinking, so I disconnected it from the board. The screen backlight is also dead (a common problem with these) so I disconnected the backlight inverter too. Made no difference, the screen is still blank. The back is missing a few screws.
On the plus side, overall cosmetic condition is very good other than a few scratches. All of the keys appear to be in good condition, but since the sound doesn’t work I don’t have a way to test them. I opened it up and the boards look good, nothing is obviously missing. Previous owner soldered in a new battery, I tested it at 2.5v, so most likely someone has worked on this in the last few years. It may be possible to fix this synth or use it as a source of parts, but it’s beyond my abilities so I’m selling it. “Yamaha CS01 early 80s mini-portable analog synth with original vintage soft case. The strap for the case is missing and no other items are included. This requires 6 AA batteries to operate and I used NiMH rechargeable batteries without any problems. A Yamaha power adapter can be bought for this but that defeats the purpose for a portable mini-synth. Some controls can be noisy when adjusted but that is common on 40 year old synths. Every control has been tested for proper operation and everything works as it should. The speaker, headphone output and line output all work.
