I listened to it and she Sounds Great

Face is in nice condition – Clear Display

As seen in my pictures, it has a few light sctratches on the top side

It was missing a few of it’s rubber pads on the bottom, so I replaed all 4 of them with new Clear 3M brand Bumpons

I noticed several other listings for FB-01’s are missing some of their rubber pads – guess it’s a common issue”

“The previous owner seems to have connected a lead inside the box to part of the circuit. I don’t know what that means, I guess it’s an extra sound out? I plugged it in, the lights came on. The lid is not connected and there are no screws. Check under the lid as I tucked this lead inside the body. Comes with manual and original advert pamphlet.”

“This auction is for a Yamaha FB-01C synthesizer desktop module. It is not in working condition and will be sold as-is, for parts or repair.

Exterior surfaces, including screen, show various signs of wear, scratches and damage, as shown in pictures.
LED screen is legible and fully functional.
Some of the front panel buttons tend to stick when pressed.
The module does power on and emit sound from outputs when receiving midi notes.
Audio quality is highly distorted and crackles, even at lower volume settings. I don’t know what might be causing this, so I don’t know how to repair it myself”

“Yamaha FM Sound Generator FB-01 MIDI Digital Synth Module, an 8 part multitimbral digital FM synth module. The FB-01 has many organ, piano, brass, bass, guitar, percussion and lead sounds. It’s a good source of typical FM-sounds. It’s a 4-operator synth. I bought the unit used and quite honestly did nothing with it. I tried it out to hear the sounds to test its functionality. It does work, but I don’t really need the unit nor do I want to put the time in it.. Rather than let it sit, someone could put it too good use. It is in good condition There is no manual, but you can get it off the internet.”
