Slight dents seen in under where rightmost keys are. These were caused
by wrong size screws previously placed in the bottom. The correct sized ones are now used. These screws seal the synth and keybed well.

FM synth very popular to play bass lines, synth leads and generate talkbox effects.

Has guitar strap buttons so you can play it like a keytar.

“Selling my faithful dx100 which I’m abit sad about but it’s not getting the use any more.
Keys are pretty much non functioning which hasn’t bothered me because I just use it as a sound module. I imagine it’d be an easy fix. Basically everything else works perfectly and it really does cut through the mix in house/techno stuff really well.
The solid bass preset is THE sound of Inner City. ”

“This is an absolute must for any collectors, I purchased this synth in 1987 from Soho Soundhouse in London, I still have the original receipt. It has the original packaging, the box, the accompanying cassette’s, playbooks etc. The books even have the original bags, this is a mint collection, I have looked after it and probably never intended to sell, but I want to purchase a workstation.

“You are looking at a previously owned Yamaha DX100 Synthesizer. Does NOT come with a power cord. It is missing the back battery cover. The 2nd to last black key on the right side is stuck- when you push down it doesnt really go down all the way. The white key next to it appears to be broken and fixed at one point. When you turn it on the screen says “CNG RAM Battery!”. There is no sound that came out of the synthezier- we do not know if there is something else that is missing to make this happen or if this is how its supposed to be because it needs to hook up to something else. Overall its in good condition with standard wear and tear.”

“Hello, this auction is for a Yamaha DX100 FM synthesizer. It’s a classic house and techno synth and sounds awesome. It works and looks great with some minor cosmetic issues – most notably it’s missing the volume slider cap (but the fader still works). There is some light scuffing and wear on the synth but nothing too major. All the buttons and keys work. The battery cover is intact although I’ve never operated it with batteries. The DX100 has been reset to original factory settings, and a Yamaha power adapter is included. The synth will be bubble wrapped and safely packaged with foam, and insured for the amount of the winning purchase.
