The only problem is that the battery cover is missing. One has been fitted and it really doesn’t look bad. Only two small holes have been made to attach it with two screws… if you get the original cover the holes will be covered with the cover. Include an generic AC adapter and audio cable. “Classic 4-operator FM synth from 1985 in used condition and fully working albeit top C sometimes needs a little extra pressure to operate but nothing major. Back up battery is showing 3.2V. All original presets. Rus on 6x “c” type batteries or psu ( KPA3) not supplied. MIDI in/out/thru and mono output. Headphones out and pedal switch input. Please study all pictures. “Yamaha DX100 Synthesizer for Repair, Refurbish or Parts. Listed as not working but it does with issues. Purchased this some time ago with the intention of refurbishing. Here are the details:

1. All 24 numbered switches operate

2. Switches A,B, and D operate properly. switch C works intermittently

3 All keys above middle C do not operate

4. Mode Set, Key Set, Off and On switches operate

5 One of the keys is broken underneath as circled in one of the pics

6. Sliders work but are scratchy.

7. The includes power supply fits loose in the socket.

8. Modulation and Pitch wheels seem to be ok.

9. I did not test any of the midi or footswitch ports, headphone port, ok.

10. LCD contrast control works properly.

11. Needs a good cleaning.

12. Comes with 3 books as shown in pic.

13. Internal battery replaced recently. Full reset applied.”

Its in great condition. All keys work EXCEPT for one, the far right key (last pic). It’s not loose or broken, it’s just not responsive and makes no sound when pressed.

“I’m selling my fully Working Yamaha DX100 to fund an analogue sequencer. It’s in good condition for a 30+ year old synth with a few very minor scratches, however it does have a repaired Key, the bottom C which has been glued. See Pictures. This repair has lasted years and has not affected its operation at all. All keys play well and the LCD contrast is good with no missing pixels. “This synth is in working condition and includes the original power supply. The only flaw I’m aware of is cosmetic damage to one key which seems to have been cracked and repaired. It was like this when I got it and doesn’t effect the playability at all. There’s a close up in the photos.”
