Cosmetically it’s in fair condition with scuffs and scratches. The bottom corner of the front panel is very slightly bent, it can be easily straightened by using pliers and a rag (never bothered me). Some potentiometers are showing signs of ageing, one or two have hairline cracks but functionality isn’t affected at all. “Up for sale is a like new, mint condition Waldorf Micro Q Special Edition Yellow Wavetable Synthesizer.
Unit has no functionality issues whatsoever and is nearly perfect cosmetically. There is some very minor edge scuffing on the top screen print and no rack rash. The unit has always been mounted with nylon washers in a smoke free studio with a dust cover. It has also always been run on a power conditioner.

The unit works, and happily makes and stores sounds, but there are the following issues:
Paint job in fairly poor condition, though the text is still readable,
Screen Cover is hanging off and slightly broken

“Waldorf Pulse Vintage Analog Monosynth. Very good used condition, everything works. This is the original Pulse from the 1990s, as opposed to the contemporary Pulse II. Three oscillators and an extensive modulation matrix make for a lot of sound possibilities. Known for its powerful bass sounds, it’s also adept at leads and wild noisy sounds. Biggest downsides for me are, no power switch (a personal peeve), no global volume control (volume is a patch parameter or controlled at the mixer) and limited patch storage. Still, it is a beast. Used lightly in a recording studio for a few years then carefully stored in a cool dry environment for the past 15 years. Tested and works great, all knobs and keys are working properly, and audio sounds just as fantastic now as it did in 2001 when it was purchased. There is a small ding on the right edge of the synth as shown in the pics, but overall in fantastic shape and looks stunning in its classic yellow finish. I couldn’t find the original manual, but did a high resolution double sided print of the manual on heavyweight high quality paper and placed it in a binder. “Classic and amazing Waldorf Q Rack synth. It is in full working condition, ALL buttons, encoders, jacks, display, wheels etc all work like they should. No encoder skipping.. they all work.
These synths are getting VERY hard to find..the sound has always reminded me of if a PPG and an Oberheim Xpander were to merge : ) Very deep and lush sound. The pads and strings are amazing, the ambient textures and drones are superb. And of course the basses and leads are SOLID!

“Waldorf Blofeld digital synth keyboard – Faulty.
Let’s get this out of the way first; this keyboard is not perfect and currently faulty, which is why it’s up for spares/repair. Please don’t buy this expecting a pristine fully working example.
I bought this about six months ago to join the army of keyboards I take to gigs (I play keys in an 80s band). During that time I’ve fixed the well-known rotary encoder problem with a software update and taking the things apart and giving them a good clean. Also replaced the power supply and power switch, which both failed not long afterwards. It’s was fine since then, have played a number of gigs with it and taken it to numerous band practices, where it’s been useful and impressive with what it can do.
The current problem is that at the last practice, I plugged it in to find that it no longer wanted to produce sound from the left channel output. Since then I’ve tested it back home and found that it produces sound sometimes, but in a distorted fashion, or nothing. It seems to decide each time the cable is inserted.
Unfortunately (for me), my band has quite a few gigs lined up over the next few months that I find a need to replace this thing with something else, simply for the sake of reliability. The irony being that it’s fantastic to use and the scope of sounds it can produce, it’s just that I need something I can rely on. Hence why you’re reading this.” Click here to visit listing on eBay

Lovely synth. Amazing warm sound. More analogue sounding than some of my analogue synths!
10 voices and 8 part multi timbral.
I have a commercial sound bank loaded into bank A with some superbly complex sounds.
In general this synth is laid out like a tradition analogue synth but the oscillators use wavetables. There are loads to choose from and these give you the raw sound to play with.
There are multiple filter types to choose from which can really alter the sound.
Addditinally there are fm and ring mod parameters to screw things up from a boring sound into something insane, should you wish to do so.
The synth also has built in FX, delays, flanges, chorus (lush!).
No obvious marks.
It’s currently in a wooden upright rack hence the screws/washers you can see. However there is no rack rash worth mentioning.
All pots work perfectly.
This synth has an enormous sound. It cuts through the mix really well.
