“I’m selling this much loved piece of kit as it’s been under a dust sheet in my studio for the last 12 years and deserves some use. It’s been well looked after but hasn’t been used for some time. It’s never been gigged – studio use only. Before listing I fired it up for testing and it could do with a service but a spray of pot cleaner in the right places would probably do the job.

“For Sale. My beloved Pro One synth which I have owned from new. It has NEVER BEEN GIGGED and has spent it’s entire life flightcased or sitting in my studio. There are two small cosmetic scratches (shown in the pics) which don’t affect its performance in any way. Like all things of its age, it could do with a spray of pot cleaner (and I would recommend that the buyer does this), but is in full working order and sounds great. “Very recently serviced (30 days ago by SD Machines in Miami) Sequential Pro-One with case and owner’s manual. Everything works. In very good condition. It has a new transformer, new power switch, all keyboard contacts have been cleaned, new bushings, all keys aligned and calibrated. There is a chip in the paint next to the LFO amount knob (see picture). The Modulation wheel broke in two and has been glued together (see picture) The inner foam of the case is not the original one (see picture)”

” This instrument has been serviced and cleaned all fully working.”
” The synth has been taken apart, refurbished and cleaned. Some old electrolytic/tantalum capacitors has been replaced and a busted IC-chip as well so now the machine is good as new again.
“Inside the base plate is signed ‘Julia 12-16-81’, so I probably bought it (new) in early ’82. I’ve only used it at home and it’s been stored in the loft for some years.”

“Excellent condition, some keys not triggering which I am not gonna have time to sort out. Imagine a service will be about £100 .
“Here we have for sale a Sequential Circuits Pro One monophonic analog synthesizer. It has been fully dissasembled, the key contacts, busbar, switches and controls have been cleaned. The power supply has been recapped with nichicon high temp capacitors, and some mismatched hardware has been replaced. It is dated 1981 low serial number with true key contacts. All ins and outs have been tested and are deemed to be working. There are blemishes on some keys and the wood sides, but overall considering the age, it is in very good shape. It will be double boxed and packed securely.”
“Nice condition not mint but very good. J wire low serial with chassis mounted psu. I’ve owned it for several years and it’s been regularly serviced I had the power cord removed and a kettle lead put in its place much safer and easier to move around. I also had the keyboard bushings replaced about two years ago as the keyboard was shocking plays nicely now. The pro one badge came off in the studio and is unfortunately now lost but they are readily available on Facebook if you feel you need it. I’ve recorded with it gigged with it and it’s never once let me down. It can be a bit picky with power as in it likes an nice clean supply, if you have a pc or laptop running on the same circuit the analog oscillators will create hum, this is a common thing with a lot of vintage synths it also likes a good 10 or 15 mins to warm up. I will be really sorry to see it go but it’s just not getting the use these days and I’m a player not a collector. “

“Up for sale the iconic and fat sounding Sequential circuits pro one mono synth. In ok cosmetic condition and fully functional. All the buttons, switches and keys works as they should. Some pots are a little scratchy such as the noise pot. This synth sounds big and it really cuts trhough the mix. I really enjoyed the sequencer and the modulation features as well as the cv and gate interaction via external sequencers. Is great for bass metalic sounds, guitar type sounds, drones and fx anything 80s with a darker tone. I’m really gonna miss this one.”
