“You are bidding on a used Sequential Circuits Prophet 600 synthesizer. The keyboard is in very good cosmetic condition with some small scratches and scuffs from normal use. Everything on the keyboard seems to work fine. The power supply and data lines have new capacitors. It also has a new memory battery. “Prophet 5 Rev 3.2 with midi, foot pedal and original manual. Bought from original owner over 20 years ago and used sporadically over that time. Keyboard bushings replaced a few years ago and recently had all the pots cleaned, mains transformer replaced and factory sounds reloaded by Gareth at Sound Control in Castleford. It is not too good to be true…My family is simply selling at a lower price than it is worth because we need the money and need to downsize…

This is in perfect working condition. Cosmetically, as you will see, it is really good for being over 40 years old!

Recently, it was opened up, cleaned out, including every contact. Built like a tank.

All keys work perfectly, and all knobs as well.

The is amazing what sounds can be created with this thing.

“Fully functioning and restored – Sequential Circuits Prophet 600 Synthesizer Vintage Restored not Prophet 5. I am not a musician or a keyboard player. History of this instrument as I know it…This synthesizer has spent its life in a padded hard case. It was given to me by a co-worker back in 2013. He purchased it from Goodwill online. (However owned it prior to that took exceptional care of it.

The unit was not working and I held on to it since then. I decided last year in March to have it repaired. It would light up but not boot to program mode. I sent the unit to one of the absolute best technicians possible for this type of instruments. The unit was sent to David Sesnak of Wine Country Productions in San Jose, California. He could not believe how great the condition of this unit was cosmetically. All repairs he made totaled $746. I had him install the GliGli update as well.

The wood sides are original. I’ve included the invoice of work performed. I could not bring myself to discard a vinatge piece of music history so I am offering for someone to enjoy for years to come. “sequential circuits prophet 5 vintage analogue synth.

I’ve had the synth 15 years and for 10 years it worked perfectly then one day it wouldn’t power up.

It has been stored for the last 5 years in that state.

The physical condition is good, comes with flight case and original operation manual.

It has midi.

The synth now powers up but still no sound and the display is stuck as shown in the picture, none of the buttons have any effect on the display.”
