“Bought this a ways back to add to my synth setup. It was listed as being in excellent working order. It was when it arrived, but now has issues. The display started to dim, but still lights up dimly and is blank. All functions and buttons continues to work, I could use it for sound with no display, then the volume started to fade out on it. now sometimes it makes sound and functions, and sometimes it makes no sound at all. I don’t have the extra time and money to get it fixed. Could be a simple repair for someone handy, or a good parts unit to someone. Cosmetically its in EXCELLENT condition. When it worked, it calibrated 100% was gonna be a keeper for life, but life happens. time to pass it on to someone to fix. comes with original manual, sound chart, and warranty papers from from Roland. If you have any questions do please ask. I try to respond quickly. All sales final please as this synth is in need of service beyond my control. “Roland D-50 Linear Synthesizer . Serviced . New switch buttons , new slide potentiometer for volume and aftertouch . Screen and leds are working perfectly . New jacks for the outputs and the headphone . Big thing : I have changed the Roland power inlet for a regular one who fits with any regular power cable ( not included ) ( see picture ) . Volume and aftertouch knobs have been lost with the time and replaced by some 3D printed . The top of the joystick has been replaced by a 3D printed as well . And the top of the bender lever as well . Please look at the pictures for more details . The keyboard is almost 40 years old so of course it has some signs of use but it works great and the sound is clear . All keys are working . The motherboard is V2 . ”

“WORKING CONDITION: Very Good – This is in excellent working condition! Serviced by Rosen Sound a few years ago, this powers right up and all functions are working well. A bit of acceptable noise can be heard from each output when the volume is cranked up high. A few sliders are occasionally scratchy due to lack of recent use, but otherwise this is working perfectly.
PHYSICAL CONDITION: Excellent – This is in excellent physical condition. There are a few slight scratches on the back panel. The wood panels have a few small dings as well, but for a unit of its age this is remarkably clean. It’s in excellent physical condition.

“WORKING CONDITION: Good – This is in good working condition overall but there is one button, the eighth rhythm preset is non-responsive when pressed. The CY-4″ and III buttons require a bit of extra force to respond. Otherwise, everything is working perfectly. Overall this is being listed in good working condition.
PHYSICAL CONDITION: Good – This is in good physical condition. There is some discoloration around the plastic housing where pieces of tape and stickers were covering the housing, and there are scuffs and scratches around the unit as well as a bit of purple paint. Additionally, a few screws on the bottom panel are non-original and in one instance the plastic threading has broken off, meaning a screw cannot be mounted there. Otherwise, this CR-5000 is still in nice solid shape, with all buttons and knobs intact and mechanically sound. Overall this is in good physical condition.
