“I am the original owner of this Roland D-50 bought in 1988! I have all the manuals, memory card and original box as seen in the pictures! The box does have about a 3 inch cut from years and years of moving. I haven’t used it for a while so I went through and checked all of the outputs and reset it to factory defaults. Cosmetically speaking this is a decent 8/10 condition. It’s used and exhibits signs of use, but not abuse. Considering it’s almost 40 years old it’s in very nice shape. “This is a used analogue synthesizer, the Roland Juno 60. I bought it off of eBay about 10 years ago. It was rarely used but kept in good physical condition. The arpeggiator used to work but for some reason isn’t now. So that part will need to be serviced. The white button to the right, the LFO trigger, also doesn’t seem to do anything which was the case when I bought it. The hold button does work but you need to press it a few times. Everything else seems to work great. All the keys work. Still sounds and looks great for being about 40 years old and never serviced. Comes with the case I received it in. “Well, I never thought I’d have to sell my JP-6, but I’ve got more bills to pay these days than I did when I bought this synth from a local studio 17 years ago. I’ve kept it in a smoke-free home. I’ve mostly been a bedroom producer, so it hasn’t really gotten any gigging.
About the condition: There are some cosmetic blemishes, but for its age I’d say it’s in very good shape. Most of it is paint blemishes. Electronically, the circuits are standing the test of time. It turns on and plays fine after it warms up. However, there are a couple quirks described below which occur right after turning it on.
The two higher octave Gs do not voice sometimes. Also, it could use a tune-up as it can drift over time, but the tuning knob can touch that up as it’s not significantly going out of tune. The sliders and pots could use a cleaning as some of them are scratchy. This is pretty easy to DIY, but again would be a part of a normal maintenance/tune-up. Everything on this synth is stock and has had no modifications.
It comes with the case, power cord and nothing else. I do have an old patch CD it came with and if I can find it, I’ll throw that in. The case is a heavy duty flight case and will be shipped in that with a bunch of foam/packaging to make it nice and secure.” Click here to visit listing on eBay

I set the Midi channel = 1 to make it easy for you. Midi input works great. The midi output and thru had tape on them from the previous owner and now have tape residue in and around the plugs so i have not tested them.
The power plug was replaced by the previous owner with a pigtail that plugs into any standard North American 3-pin cord.

“Reluctant sale, but as I now have a System-8 and V-Synth, space is an issue.
This is the last of the great Roland analogue polysynths. Sonically in perfect working order. The reason it is marked as for parts, is that two of the keys (B&D on top octave) are not triggering. It’s most likely a simple fix. Also the membrane pad to the left of the LCD is only partially triggering all the switches underneath.
Neither of these issues bothered me as I used it as a sound source and edited as seen in the pics from my iPAD with the £4.99 application IPG800, which is superb and I would highly recommend getting. I also have Windows editors (free online) for use in my DAW, so the key triggers and membrane were never an issue for my personal use. “RS202 ROLAND STRING MACHINE. OWNED FROM NEW AND PURCHASED IN 1979.
Not gigged for 10 years. Still sounds like an 80s string machine. Brass sounds still not Roland’s finest hour.
Switches a little temperamental and clearly needs an overhaul. But works and the ensemble is still good. Paint peeled of the panel but I’ve left it like that rather than spray it back on.
Please don’t expect too much it’s 43 years old. One knob missing off the selector switch and this switch is very intermittent but gets there once in situ ”

All modules are fully tested and working. Sliders recently cleaned and other controls all working as they should.
Solid metal construction with retro-fitted rosewood veneered end panels (see photos). The original wooden ends were removed due to damage.
I stuck some foam feet to the base of the unit a while back to avoid damage to surfaces. These can be easily and cleanly removed if not required.
UK mains 240v with cable and plug fitted.
Supplied with the DIN socket connection cables, but no patch leads.
