The face is extremely clean, and has a factory fit plastic shield with Japanese lettering that has helped to keep the beauty of this machine intact.
Everything functions properly and sounds great.
The custom suitcase is foam padded and a good fit if you need to move this machine anywhere.

“Hi there – we have an awesome rack-mount synthesizer up for auction!
Roland MKS-80 Super Jupiter rack mount synthesizer from 1984.
Also included is the M-64C Memory Card, a brand new power cable from Hosa, and a hard case from Road Runner.
Found this at a thrift store a while ago without any power cable and took a chance on it. After getting a new power cable I was not disappointed – this synth is loud with fat bass sounds.
Now a bit about the condition – this is in used condition. As you can see from the pictures there is a lot of rack rash and scuffs on the top of it’s case. There are other scratches and stuff from general use and or storage over the years. None of which affects the sound.
I was able to test the basic features of this synth – I had another keyboard plugged in by MIDI to test the sounds. All the Bank and Number buttons work to change from one tone to the next. I was also able to use the parameter and value buttons to edit the tone.
I couldn’t figure out how to load or save from the memory card, so that may have to be considered AS IS.
The only negative thing I could find was when using the Volume slider on the front caused static and cutting out of the left speaker. After finessing the slider I got it to come through both speakers. Could be because of dust or possibly something else I’m not sure. Please take this into consideration when bidding or purchasing.
The headphone jack on the front works.
The Upper and Lower 1/4″ outputs work on the back.
It also looks like it has XLR upper and lower outputs on the back, but I was unable to test those.
The tune knob on the front works.
The plastic piece on the Power button comes off if you pull on it, but it doesn’t affect the actual mechanism to turn the machine on and off.
The will be shipped inside the Road Runner hard case to add to it’s protection. ”

“Normal operation of buttons and sliders, sound output,
Sequencer’s input, DIN sync, sound from all keys etc.
Although I confirm the basic function,
Operation with batteries (no liquid leakage) and using tape
Saving etc. are not checked because there is no compatible device at hand.
I think that there is a feeling of use as it is because of age,
I think that there will be no big scratches and it will be a class of good products.
An adapter is attached.

“I bought this synth second hand around 5 years ago and it’s only had light home studio synth use while I’ve had it. It’s in good condition and the keybed is particularly nice to play (far superior in my opinion to my brand new Nord Lead A1!). A couple of things to note, neither of which have proved problematic for me. Firstly there’s a small audible crackle when changing the volume slider (typical on synths of this age). This is not an issue in operation as it’s literally only when changing the volume via the slider. Secondly the octave up and down buttons don’t respond (and never have while I’ve owned it). This hasn’t been an issue for me either – though I guess it’ll depend how you intend to use it (I’ve often had it connected via midi when using it in the studio). Other than that the machine is spot on – particularly so considering the age.”

“Roland Juno 106 for sale in good condition. I have owned this for 15 years, but It hasn’t been used in years. I have powered it on a few times over the years and let it warm up. It was also given a service about 4 years ago, everything was stripped and cleaned, but it hasn’t been used since.
As far as I can tell everything works ok, although the chorus buttons do not seem to do anything. All knobs and sliders are present. There is some slight cosmetic damage to the case. ”

“Not much to say – pictures say it all. The synth is in near mint condition – it is 9.9/10. Silkscreen graphics are glossy and without blemishes, face is free of scratches or nicks. Minor scuffs on the underside from moving/racking this beast. All sliders and pots are mechanically nice and smooth, few are little scratchy – but it is a 30y+ old synth and as such sold “as is”. It looks as gorgeous and pristine as can be – and you’ll be very happy with its shape and sound. I don’t think you will find one in condition like this one any time soon… or EVER. That is, unless you happen to find a new one in the box.”

“for auction is a used Roland JX-3P synthesizer. PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION
This synth has always functioned 100% for me for MANY years (besides the brightness slider which just broke off near the base of the post… will be included in auction)
HOWEVER… I recently opened it up to change the battery when it died, and realized it is the weird cylindrical type battery, not the
typical 2032 battery I was prepared to insert. I clipped the battery (same voltage) correctly to the posts and the preset saving worked
again. The problem is, now the editor no longer works. When you select a parameter to edit…the moment you touch the value slider, the parameter value jumps down to zero and will not respond to the slider any more. I am certain I didn’t drop anything on the circuit board or accidentally bridge a connection, so I have no idea what happened. It could be something simple to fix for someone who knows the circuit side better. Also.. the editing functions MIGHT respond to the PG-300, or the clone of it. I do not own a PG-300 to test this.
The preset sounds still function normally. You just cannot edit them. They do still save when the battery is connected. I removed the
battery and am just letting the synth go as is. I’m saddened by the loss, it was a favorite of mine, so hopefully somebody will
resurrect it’s full functionality and enjoy it. I do not think the sequencer responds as well.

There is a dent around the Bender wheel and VCF DCO sliders. Does not affect any functions.
The Key transpose button is missing. Still functions perfectly
Few sliders have a slight bend but nothing serious, all function great.
The Chorus I & II buttons don’t stay engaged. Only work when pressed and hold down.
Side panels have wear.
All keys function, sounds perform, all other features work great. No sticky keys, no dead keys. No broken keys. The outer casing has surface wear and scratches. The juno will be professionally packaged. ”

“Fully restored Roland Juno 106 Analog Synthesizer working perfectly. Includes Juno 106 synth, US power cable and 1 extra 80017a voice chip.
All keys, slider caps, and buttons were removed and hand washed. Vacuumed and cleaned inside and out. All 6 voice chips had the resin removed to last for years to come. The one voice chip that was giving trouble when I purchased the unit has been socketed for easy removal in the future if needed. Includes one extra 80017a voice chip (resin removed) for replacement in the future if needed. Trouble tact switches were replaced for 1 touch operation.

“This listing is for a like-new Roland MC-202 analog synthesizer/sequencer. It is in fantastic, fully-functional shape with only two marks on the bottom of the synth. The 202 has not been modded or altered in any way and has seemingly rarely ever been used. The 202 is very similar to the Roland SH-101, though the 202 sports a much more advanced sequencer. “If you’re looking at this, then you know what it is. I recently bought this from a real ‘synth guy,’ who went over it and serviced it… made it good for years to come. He replaced the battery, re-capped it, and cleaned it up. If you’ve been looking for a great Promars in very good-excellent condition, then this is the one… Also probably the only one available online that ships from inside the United States. It is in 100% perfect working condition.
In the interest of full disclosure, here is a fully transparent (to the best of my ability) description of the synth’s condition, with any and all ‘little’ things that one would want to know:
All original sliders, knobs, buttons, switches, etc. are present and accounted for. There is no writing or stickers anywhere- as far as cosmetic condition goes, there are some knicks on the wooden sides (visible in pics), a little bit of tape residue next to the word “Promars” on the face plate, and a little bit of rust/buildup on some of the screws (which could easily be replaced). Also, the Attack slider in the VCF section is slightly bent, but does not affect function. Synth stays in tune and tracks well.
Also, this is the Japanese version (100V), so you may want to get the appropriate voltage converter for this baby.”

“Here’s a vintage original 1980s Roland Juno-106 Keyboard up for sale.
It works but not perfectly. It powers up and plays but it does not sound right. It sounds distorted a bit and not the way it is supposed to. This item is being sold as is for repair.

“Tested recently before listing, there is the usual very small amount of noise heard on the volume slider only when being adjusted –
to give full disclosure – and something that can be expected from gear this age, but nothing at all that would hinder it’s use as it’s an
extremely warm and powerful synth. The display is fully functional however the backlight has dimmed out. This is the Rev 5 version
with the custom Roland VCO’s, designed to produce a highly desirable tighter bass sound that’s preferred in the studio. I don’t think
a synthesizer of this magnitude has been produced since, and being what I consider to be the best piece of gear I’ve owned – I’ve
taken a lot of pride in it’s ownership. Exclusively housed and used in a power conditioned and climate controlled environment. It’s
sound can be heard used by many famous artists. No dead voices or any voice problems that I’ve noticed, this is no doubt a rare gem.”

” Original genuine vintage ROLAND Juno-106 synth purchased new by me for over $1,000 in September 1986. Still works well, a little dirty pot noise occasionally when moving some of the sliders due to non use over the past few years but all sliders and buttons work. Original chips and board & working LED’s, no modifications. All keys work. Natural wood bottom gives it some weight. Nice addition to a studio or to add some warm strings and 80’s style patches to your music.”
