“This Juno 106 was previously refurbished by Synth Spa, based out of Tennessee, so it has wood paneling on the sides and an added LED in the pitch bender/mod wheel. All 6 voice chips are functional, and all faders and keys are in great shape. Pictures are of actual unit. Occasionally it will take around 30 seconds to power on once the power switch is flipped (other times will turn on instantly) but then works great!”

It has Jupiter style Kiwi 106 graphics and custom wood ends and front (under keys).
You can download the editors and manual from Syntegrator’s Kiwi-106 website.
The Kiwi 106 has many upgrades including 8 patch banks instead of the original 2.

“You are bidding on Roland Juno-106 vintage analog synth, the synth is practically in brand new cosmetic condition, no missing cups, broken sliders or discolorations etc, just perfect. I also opened the unit and absolutely great condition inside, no even dust, as far as I see everything is original, none of components were replaced, resoldered. I am not a specialist to test equipment especially old vintage synth, but I can say absolutely all sliders, knobs, lights, joystick and all keys work. But I noticed- looks like voice #4 is kind of funky, it make same sound like other voices but on a back I hear some sort of clicking/bubling. On some patches like some pads or strings it’s kind of interesting combination when you take chord, but on some patches it doesn’t fit. As far as I digged INFO about that issue looks like 90% of Juno 106 have some problems with voice chip . I guess it’s a the same problem except bad voice chip still make good sound but with some extra noise on a back”

“Roland Juno 106 Analogue Synthesizer in Mint Condition And Original Box.. been only used in home studio from new. Even has the user manual and data sheets. Memory functions all work. The controls all work. It may have a voice chip starting to wear. As after some time of playing a faint sustain sound can be heard. This is like you know a relatively cheap fix. And chips readily available. And simple to fit. Just haven’t got round to doing it. So sold as described. The synth is museum quality condition. A true collectors piece. Collection only”

“Roland Juno-106 Programmable Polyphonic Synthesizer. Serial # 578039. Working and I would say it is in good to very good condition. I’m not a keyboard player, I am a buyer/seller and I have acquired this through an estate sale type situation. I wasn’t able to talk to the original owner about it. I have tested most of the functions to the best of my ability, and it’s so cool I almost wanted to keep it. As far as function goes I believe it is 100% -although I do not know enough about it to be able to test all functions. I have not opened the unit for inspection, so I’m not sure how much dust etc. might be inside. It has some cosmetic defects, most notable being a hole in one of the keys as shown in one close up photograph. All keys work and this hole in the one key does not affect playability. How this might’ve happened is beyond my comprehension. There are scratches and little chips here and there on the face but overall it is in pretty good condition. I suggest expanding the photographs to see finer details.”

“Roland Juno-106 Synthesizer. Condition is Used. “Works very well. In need of refurbishment. Needs new bender wheel, 2 slider/fader knobs and the LED screen that sits over the bank/patch number selector. Also has a splotch of white paint on the body and a bit on one black key that I’m sure could be removed. According to the serial number (525564) this unit was manufactured in November 1976. This unit has been great for my own productions . it played a key role in my first four or five albums produced between 1999-2005. I need to part with it now for money reasons. Since the synth works great I’m not listing this as parts only but perhaps it should be listed like this? Not sure and I’m open to discuss.” This was previous sellers description. There are certain sounds that crack when played. Not sure if it has to do with the sound board (amplifier) having issue. All keys/notes are working.”

“Absolutely gorgeous Roland Juno 106. My name is Jimi Matrix. I play in Z:N. We have gone by Zenith:Nadir as well. I would say half of our songs included this synth legend. I have recently dolled it up by including Tamo Japanese hardwood. No need to worry I have the original pieces included as well (with the original screws). All the voices work great on this synth. There is a slight dent (pictured) and the underbelly looks like it has seen a few gigs or two prior to our ownership! “Here is my Roland Juno-106. It’s in mint condition, mainly because when I bought it in 94, it’s been in its case and kept in a closet. Rarely ever played. Which is a shame, I know. I’ll be posting more, and better pictures soon. This is only available for local pickup, sorry. However, I would consider driving somewhere to deliver it.
Update: I’ve had it turned on for about two hours now, it works perfectly except that it doesn’t have any of it’s original presets (the blue buttons) due to a dead memory battery. That will need replacing.”
