Although it doesn’t currently need one, I recently bought a back up battery, which I’ll send along for those who know how to change it. I also have the original manual and a cassette that came with it, containing 1000 sounds. “For sale is my Oberheim Matrix-6. This synth is in great condition. All keys play as they should, velocity and release velocity, (you can modulate parameters by how quickly you release keys), function properly. The membrane keys all work as well as all sliders. It does have some minor wear and tear, but nothing beyond what you’d expect from an almost 40 year old synth. It also has tauntek’s eprom upgrade from version 2.13 to version 2.14 for faster MIDI parameter changes. Version 2.13 is included in a static free bag taped inside the synth. I really really like this synth a lot, but I just don’t play it as much as I used to, and I’m downsizing my studio.
