“I loved using this classic synth in my hardware setup, but I’m focusing more on writing music entirely on the computer, and because of that, this synth needs to find a new owner who will make good use of it.

The synth is in great condition and any cosmetic issues are very minor. It doesn’t even really have any wear and tear due to being in a rack.

It does have the audible hum that’s common with these synths (due to how they’re built, just to be clear), but it’s not really that noticeable and doesn’t affect the performance of the unit at all.

” Hey guys I’m selling my Oberheim Matrix 6 analog synthesizer. It has been used exclusively in smoke free studio environments. Physically is in good working order, but from time to time will have a screen freeze and the unit needs to be turned off and then on, and randomly will not turn on – this may require maintenance in the future so I’m selling it at a reduced price. Other than that the synth sounds great, keyboard is in good condition and cosmetically the synth looks pretty good.”

“Up for sale is a fantastic Oberheim Matrix 1000. The bass sounds on this are really fat and so are the lush evolving pads. I’m moving out of the country so I’m selling some gear. This is sad to let go because It’s a great sounding analog synth that only takes up 1 rack unit.

The only problem is that the rack ears are bent.

Everything works perfectly.

You will definitely get lost in the matrix. I spent several weeks exploring this unit’s sounds. They are really fun to play and experiment with. Some of the evolving pads independently evolve if you do a gradual arpeggio which makes it sound like it’s playing a cannon.”

“Up for auction is my Oberheim Matrix-6 synthesizer. I’ve used this synth in my smoke-free home studio for the past five years, and I know it inside and out. This synth is in immaculate cosmetic condition, and it sounds amazing. The mod matrix really allows for the creation of much more unusual and interesting sounds. All buttons, volume slider, pitchbend levers, jacks, and synth functions work perfectly.

I replaced the internal battery four years ago, so it should be good to go for another six years or so. I have loaded this synth with the factory patches, so the buyer will receive it basically as it would have originally been sold. I’ll be sorry to see it go. “MATRIX 1000:Very Good to Excellent Condition. There is a tad of rack rash on the top of the unit. A few minor dings at the edge of the front panel, but you really have to look hard for those. ” Classic Oberheim Matrix 6 from the 80s. 6-voice analog polyphonic synth with MIDI. This synth works great, although I didn’t test the MIDI (no cable). This is in excellent cosmetic condition and includes the following:

“This Matrix-1000 synth module is 100% functional and it sounds wonderful.
All switches, pots, jacks, and LED display work exactly as they should.
Cosmetically, it is in outstanding shape as the pictures show. There may be a couple of barely visible scratches, but that’s it.
This Matrix-1000 interfaces with my Korg Triton via MIDI. Depending upon the patch, it responds to both keyboard velocity and aftertouch.
I have used my personal computer, MIDI-OX, and a windows-based librarian to download and modify patches. I have never experienced any problems.”
