“This Prodigy is in great shape. I know, since I repaired it. The case is original and un-restored. The keyboard is perfect. It has all of the knobs, switch covers, and case feet. I did change the LED from Red to Green and added golden screws to make it look sharp. I am selling because I have a couple of other similar synths and this one is just not played enough. So love it well.

“Here’s a Moog Opus 3 String Synth. I think they are under-rated when compared to the Arp Omni, Solina and Roland’s.. The Moog features a much more extreme bandpass or hi-pass filter which gives a ton of string options, and the chorus section is outstanding. The brass is quite good too, with pretty detailed controls for tailoring the sound in addition to it’s preset. “Item: Used, working Mg1 synthesizer. This one has all new sliders and switches installed, and all the degrading black foam has been removed. Everything tests out well with this one, although it’s sold as-is, we really think the buyer should and is going to be happy with it. It even has a midi jack midi kit installed, that we have not tested, but probably works great. 1/4 jacks are installed as well. I didn’t test the filter input either but that probably works great. No mods other than that. The keys are a little “cosmetically challenged” in areas but all the keys trigger nicely and the rest of the synth looks excellent. It is a fantastic synth. It has TWO oscillators which makes it sound so much richer than other single-oscillator rivals. Hard sync between the oscillators, in particular, produces some amazing sounds, especially when used with the unsprung pitch wheel. The famous Moog ladder filter sounds just as good as the hype.
I played this once at uni and during soundcheck it was very loud in the PA subwoofers. I thought it was going to take the building down! It will seriously blow your mind.
It has CV and gate (S-trig) inputs for external control, including control of the filter frequency. I am also selling a Kenton Pro 2000 MIDI—CV converter which works perfectly with the Moog Prodigy for driving it from a MIDI sequencer, workstation keyboard or DAW software (I used Ableton Live). I have owned this synth since my university days (around 1999/2000). I never had any problems with it except for replacing a fuse once. It has one switch top missing which does not affect functionality. It has been stored in a smoke-free home.” Click here to search for synths on eBay

“Just had it completely gone through by Synth Pro Audio
He made everything work right, cleaned up up, cleaned contacts, you name it, he did it.
ALL knobs switches, buttons, keys, etc, work fine! No issues.
New 3 prong cord installed
I also refinished the wood cabinet.
The two top corners were a little dinged, so I rounded them off before staining.
I think the rounding looks good, but it’s different from stock, thus the mention.
The highest key had some discoloring and I cleaned it up as good as possible. See pic
Key works 100% – it’s only cosmetic and not noticeable unless you look close”

” I’m selling my vintage Micromoog that I’ve owned for about 40 years. I’ve used it mostly for left-hand bass and wired in a jack on the bottom to accommodate a Yamaha BP-1 bass pedal unit (13 notes, lower C to one octave up). The keyboard was rebuilt in late 2015 with all new rubber bushings using the proper Dow Corning lubricant. The keyboard action feels like new. The potentiometers and switches were cleaned at the same time. Everything works as expected and the unit sounds great.
Note the following:
1) The ribbon controller has a small tear near the bottom as can be seen in the photos, but it works fine and doesn’t affect the functionality.
2) The white rectangular area to the left of the Moog logo (on the back) is from an adhesive label I had there at one time. I wasn’t able to get it off with a mild adhesive remover, but a stronger one may work.
Included in the sale is the original “preliminary” operation manual from Moog dated July 1975, a Micromoog operation manual by Tom Rhea, some extra rubber keyboard bushings and a like-new Gator case. Will sell and ship to continental US only.”

“This keyboard unit is in incredible condition. I have plugged it into an amplifier and powered it and the light comes on, but it does not make noise. It however appears to be fully complete, that said, it will have to be sold “as is, as found”. If you have one that works but looks crummy, this is an outstanding unit to swap in your functioning component.The cover had a very thick coating of dust on it, appeared that the unit had not been uncovered or touched for literally years. All keys, toggles, and sliders are in excellent condition. All the inputs and outputs on the rear show no signs of use or abuse. One of the rubber feet is missing, mount intact. One rubber foot is missing, mount is broken flush with the base of the unit.”

I’ve included a video of me testing out the controls.. I play through each key with a tone, and then use the string section, its bandpass filter and chorus, followed by adding in organ sounds, and finally experimenting with the brass preset and customizing it with filter and envelope changes…
I couldn’t find any issues and everything functioned as normal after it warmed up, for the first minute or so after you turn the unit on, the Brass section filter was sluggish to function, but it corrects itself after 5 minutes. occasionally a slider would give a little bit of noise which I’m assuming is dirt or wear on the pot. Cosmetically it’s in pretty good shape. See the pics for full documentation of end caps and control panel.”

I did my best to test it out and I even recorded a video showing the extent of my testing. I have no idea if this is working 100% as it should. “Bought this Moog Rogue almost twenty years ago, and it has lived in my smoke free studio ever since. Closing the facility and offloading equipment, and unfortunately, this baby needs to go. Built in the Williamsville NY facility in the early 70’s this unit’s serial number is hand written (#3698). Some keys and wheels have some discoloration, the fader cap on the contour generator is missing, and the wall wart has electrical tape rather than a plug cover, but that can be replaced, I have seen fader knobs sold on line, and the unit sounds terrific for being close to fifty years old. If you don’t know what thee sound like, do a bit of research and you’ll be impressed. “Excellent condition she is beautiful with nothing cracked, broken, or missing, corners are near perfect, keys are nice and white, there are two extremely minor scratches on right outside panel which are virtually unnoticeable (the pics don’t even show them) otherwise the synth would probably clean up to like new condition but I don’t want to touch it for fear I would screw something up, Functions beautifully and sounds awesome with nice fat analog tones.”
