” I bought this from an old landlord, used it for a few records and loved it! One of the switches on the mixer section is missing but doesn’t affect playability. Some of the faders are a bit scratchy but everything is functional, just could be taken apart and cleaned to be in mint condition. The wood panel on the left side also needs to be reglued. Very playable condition, but could be refurbished to be like new. ”
“This is a used Moog Realistic Concertmate MG-1 Analog Synthesizer. It is in fair cosmetic and good functional condition. Powers up, headphone jack works great, tones sound awesome and all the controls seem to work. One of the switches was replaced at some point (shown in the photos) and it is missing a rubber foot (easy to replace with anything). I never tested the RCA out jacks, but have no reason to suspect they are faulty. In light of its advanced age and awesomeness, I’m selling this as-is”

” You are bidding on Moog Realistic MG-1 real vintage analog synthesizer. Item was sitting on a shelf for at least 10 years or so. When I picked one it was very dusty, I cleaned the synth outside and she looks very very nice. I tested the keyboard to my best and I can say she does work, makes good fat sound, sliders and switches function and actually unit is playable , you can make unison or some detune, get in right pitch etc, BUT the synth needs good cleaning. Some sliders kind of stiffed or react on sliding spontaneously, same about some switches, 2-3 keys needs contact cleaning . It was a lot of dust, so it needs cleaning inside. meanwhile as I said she is still in playable condition. Unit doesn’t have any rust at all, just it was dirty. As far as item needs some attention the synth goes AS IS, all sales final. A little bit work for skilled person and this synth will be working like new. See pictures”

“If you didn’t already read the “Used Condition” status, I will briefly describe this again. I bought this Moog Prodigy about 4 years ago for about $1,300. At the time it worked okay, and then very quickly starting breaking. It has had some work done on it, specifically the Oscillator 2 has been fixed and worked on. The first “F” key has been worked on and is now working properly as well. It has been going out of tune immensely and has just now been fixed and tuned back into working order. However, there is now a bit of a problem with the Pitch Bend wheel, where it only sometimes works. It should be a very simple fix, but at this point, I really cannot afford to put any more money into this thing, as much as I do love playing it. So, again, this is a working item with some repairs, that makes it not 100 percent original (which is hard to tell unless taking the thing apart anyways) and of course that the pitch bend wheel does not work well at all.

“I purchased this early 80’s Moog in 1999. Good working condition with photocopied user manual, kept in same studio. Converted to take UK mains plug. This synthesizer has very solid lead sounds and with filter and modulation the Source can make some very impressive sounds. Excellent bass and sub bass tones that are perfect. This can be MIDI controlled using CV gates and Kenton Pro Midi controller (or any other interface) which I’m auctioning separately.
“For sale is a late 70s Moog Micromoog, fully functional. This unit was serviced last year with a rebuilt PSU, recap and a couple other bugs fixed. It is in excellent physical condition for its age; the only thing to note is the bottom particle board slab was replaced with plywood as the former was crumbling apart. The keys feel pretty good for the most part, though the new owner may want to change the bushings. The keys all work, though again, this is a vintage Pratt-Read style J-wire keyboard so I suggest the buyer reads up on maintaining a clean buss bar when keys will inevitably lose contact, which is an issue for nearly all vintage synths from this era. ”

“I’ve owned this MicroMoog for around 37 years. Have spent around £500 refurbishing the Moog (via a professional synthesizer service company) in the last 6 months so it is in great working order. It’s in really good condition for its age in terms of appearance too. There is a huge sound palette available though with all sorts of sounds and textures. It is a monophonic synthesizer, featuring 1 variable waveshape voltage-controlled oscillator. It has a -24 dB per octave low-pass filter with envelope generator, a voltage-controlled amplifier, noise generator, sample and hold circuit, low-frequency oscillator, and modulation routing. It has a 32-note keyboard and was one of the first synthesizers to include a built-in ribbon controller, in this instance for pitch bending. The Micromoog has an audio input allowing external audio to be run through the filter and VCA. It also features the Moog Open System control inputs, a pre-MIDI control system which enabled the unit to be controlled by other Moog synthesizers.”

“There is some background noise in the audio signals output from the unit. The unit powers on, and all of the keys are responsive. There are some cuts in the power cable and it has been taped back together. This unit will need to be cleaned up as it is pretty dusty. There is visible dust behind the switches and keys.
