“STG Soundlabs Mankato Filter. Very rare frac version of the Mankato. I don’t know how many of these were actually sold, but it can’t have been many. This one is dated June 2008. 3 frac units in width. Cosmetically in very good condition with a small amount of rack rash. The front panel of the module has a very slight forward bow, so it does not sit completely level with the modules next to it. Please look at the last two photos to understand what I mean. “This is a 3 rack set of hard to find pre-assembled Blacet Modular frac rack compatible modules. Fracrack or fractional rack modules were the precursor to eurorack modulars, and some feel they sound better than the euro rack standard. Some of these modules were factory assembled and some were not. There are a couple partially cut wires in the non-factory assembled modules that we will probably remove entirely before shipping. All modules were tested individually in another system and determined to be working properly. Power supply and and rack enclosure are not included. If you need a power supply, please email us as we may be able to provide one for an additional cost.

This amazing Bernie Hutchins inspired all analog circuit has been admired for years as a true Electronic Design marvel, (Of course we could not simply leave well enough alone, voltage controlled FAT has been added which allows a signal such as an envelope or LFO to sweep from a single sawtooth wave output to an ensemble of seven. There’s also a square wave cluster output, so it’s not just sawtooths out, which might make for a crazy clock input to something.

Six internal LFOs track the incoming VCO frequency for a consistent sound at any pitch.

These six LFOs have individual output jacks

giving you a swarm of frequency controlled triangle outputs who’s output depth can be modulated by the VC FAT input. Think of the possibilities: the LFO outs can modulate six other modules in your system on command.

It’s optimized for a sawtooth input, but any waveform with a slope going into this thing… comes out as a super fat seven-hundred pound gorilla of waveforms!”

The manufacturer still makes a few modules specifically for the eurorack range but this is a rare example of a full system using their own bespoke case.

All modules will happily play with Doepfer format eurorack but will require adapters if you want to use them in a different case.

You can still find some of the cool rare modules that are now out of production (like samplers, bode frequency shifters, wave table oscillators) on sites like reverb or modwiggler but cases/power systems are really hard to come by.

All of the modules are designed by a single manufacturer for use together and the extensive manuals for each module are still available on the web.

Comes with power cable and a bunch of patch cables. Supplying an additional filter module and audio interface adapter so you can pick and choose your own configuration.”

“4 Monorocket Bus Boards available.

These boards have 14 headers per board for Doepfer style eurorack PLUS very uncommonly, 8 sockets for Analogue Solutions style. If you are running any analogue solutions, this will save you using adapters.

4 boards are here, they’ve been used in a Monorocket MX6 case for the last 10 years, but I’m currently upgrading the whole system. The Hengfu PSUs aren’t in great shape so it’s just the boards available. They’ve been wired so that one board (with the tiny heat sink) has had +12, 0v, -12v and +5v, and the rest just +12, 0v and -12v.

This collection is all 4U format. These are not Eurorack format.

The front panels are all unique and custom made. The panels are based on the “Loudest Warning” standard.

Panel height is 175mm and 2mm thick, made from anodised aluminium.
