“Selling a used Mutable Instruments Marbles module. I bought this when they were released and unfortunately haven’t used it all that much. I should note up front, this is NOT an audio sampler like an akai or something for making beats, it is a random sampler in that it produces random gates and triggers for your eurorack system/synthesizer. I’ve used it to make interesting rhythms and pitches for a sound or drum source. Condition of the module is great, with the exception of a bit of rack rash on both the top and bottom of the plate, otherwise like new! This is basically a museum piece. It has a Frank Lloyd Wright / Stanley Kubrick vibe to it, and it’s so rare you can still launch your own YouTube channel with it.

Full Buchla-style analog voice with a dual complex oscillator, a dual function generator, two vactrol-less VCA/LPG/MMF dynamics controllers, and a very rich-sounding analog BBD delay. You can fold square waves and make all kinds of animal-like and organic sounding patches with this thing. It’s super rare, an undisclosed number were ever sold about a year an a half ago. Pittsburgh is making a VRL 2, but it will be substantially different to this. In addition to the VRL module, you get a the Lifeforms Touch controller, the Output Utility Module, and a walnut and steel 96 HP eurorack case. I’m selling this rare and inspiring instrument which has been played for under 10 hours. The rubber feet and many of the patch cables have not even been used. SynthTech E355 Morphing Dual LFO

“The E355 is a 14hp Eurorack module with two LFOs that use our unique morphing algorithm to create over 10,000 different waveforms. the two outputs can vary from one cycle in 12 minutes to 1000Hz, with high and low ranges available. The use of a 24 MHz 32-bit ARM processor means virtually no frequency drift.

The E355 has features to make it useful in both live and in the studio. The two LFOs are “locked” to each other in one of three ways, chosen by a panel switch:

LFO1 and LFO2 have independent rates and the same waveshape and phase
LFO2 has independent waveshape but the same rate and phase as LFO1
LFO1 and LFO2 have the same rate/waveshape but variable phase from 0-360°

LFO1 can be thought of as the “master” LFO as it always has independent rate, FM, and morphing. Each LFO tracks 1v/Oct and all parameters are under voltage control. There are two leds that vary in brightness based on output amplitude in 128 levels.

The E355 uses the same morphing engine as the E350 Morphing Terrarium. The transition from one stored wavetable to another is broken down into 4096 calculated waves. There are 3 banks of waves to select from:

PAiA 4700 Series Modular Synthesizer

” You’re bidding on an analog “patch cord” monophonic synthesizer that contains all of the fundamental modules needed for music synthesis. I assembled this synthesizer in 1980 using 4700-series kits from the legendary PAiA Electronics, Inc. in Oklahoma.

This synthesizer was in “working” condition before I stored it away. I was already an experienced electronic kit assembler at age 18 when I assembled all of the modules. I used terminal strips to create “bus bars” inside the module cabinets to conveniently provide the three supply voltages (plus ground) to all of the modules. Once I got to college at PSU I begged an Electrical Engineering professor let me use a frequency meter in a lab to calibrate each key of the keyboard to the proper pitch. I recently applied power to the cabinets and proved that the power supplies are working, but their output voltages will need to be recalibrated according to the manuals.
