Working KORG POLY-61 Vintage 1980’s Synthesizer Keyboard
I have had this a long long time, and over the years it has seen more action than Axel Rose.
Over the years I have had hard Red Oak sides put on, as the chipboard that was originally there was just falling to bits as they all do.
I have not used it for over a year, but it is fully functioning. Just needs some switch cleaner in the volume knob as it is a little scratchy when turned. With time and use this should dissipate.
Also, where the modulation/Pitch bend joystick is, the panel does move a bit. It has done this since the sides were replaced but it does not affect playing or using of the joystick. It could use some shorter screws in it I think. Just never bothered with it as it did not detract from its use. Just thought I would mention it as someone may want to fix that.

There are barely any marks on the body, and the microphone is an original Korg Microphone which isn’t easy to come across nowadays.
The first two white keys have been cemented many years ago (see picture), but cheap replacements can be found at Syntaur.com

“The Korg MS-10 is an analogue synthesizer created by Korg in 1978. Unlike its bigger brother, the Korg MS-20, the MS-10 only has one VCO, one VCF and one envelope generator. It is monophonic and has 32 keys.
The MS-10 is well known for its huge sounding electro bass sounds.
This one is in tiptop condition for its age and has been thoroughly disassembled down to the individual keys, cleaned and reassembled, then tested and adjusted to ensure it is working perfectly. See the video of it in action.

“Korg Lambda ES-50 String Synthesizer.
Originally bought by my father in ’79, it’s a fantastic sounding fully polyphonic string machine in lovely condition. It also has the original pristine manual and (tatty) box – it looks fabulous.
This has two layers of strings that can be detuned like traditional oscillators, it is then put through the on board ensemble effect. The sound is very rich and alive. There is also a brass and a piano section, but it really shines for strings.
It is mostly working well but there are some issues with this machine :
The percussive (piano) section isn’t working correctly, though it can be heard very faintly when playing keys.

“It has been sitting in the studio for a while now used only occasionally since I bought it. It is a shame for this classic not to be used on a regular basis so looking for a new home.
It is in good working order, all keys work as they should (no double notes when pressed), all pots working. There are some marks on the face and back and slight rust as shown. One of the end cheeks has some discolouring (like this when i bought it).
