I found this in a lot of music gear I purchased recently. Don’t have a power cord for it so I haven’t tried turning it on, but it looks like it might have some issues. ” This is an original Korg Polysix Synthesizer, made in Japan. This is my father’s keyboard as he has given me permission to sell it. He states that he has owned it for 40 years, but after getting a new keyboard 30 years ago, this one has been collecting dust.
I have this listed for parts because it has a few issues. It does power on and there was sound when I plugged in some headphones. However, I couldn’t hear any sound when using a speaker. All that is audible is static noise. Moreover, the majority of the keys do not register sound unless pressed down on very hard. I do not know if this requires a full removal of the keys or if a simple tweak needs to be made. There is a crack on one corner of the wood (shown in the pictures). There is also a screw missing on the bottom, making the keys slightly shift.
While the keyboard has issues, I believe that in the right hands, it can be fixed up and made to sound good again.”

“The Korg dw8000 Is a 61 Key analog digital synth. Lots of fun stuff on here and an abundant amount of patches available for it as well. I love my Korg and have always had a lot of fun playing it. “KORG Polysix W/Kiwisix Upgrade, Restored W/ PSU upgrade and synthgraphics overlay.
It is fully functional and has been recently serviced, and sounds fantastic.
This a nice example of a Korg Polysix, with those sweet 80’s graphics and wood sides.
There are some small scratches here and there and some wear on the wood sides including on chip on the right hand check in the back by PSU (see pic), but overall for a synth of its age, it looks great!
All pots have been cleaned, PSU was upgraded, unit calibrated, synth graphic was overlayed and firmware was upgraded to latest release, and it sounds fantastic.

When you hold down the correct buttons for a factory reset it reads “SDRAM DB Error”!
Not sure if this is an easy fix or not
Might just need a new stick of SDRAM?

“This synth has been tested and sounds great!
It has been fitted with the Moog slayer mods for control of cutoff and resonance via the knobs on the side. There is also a third knob for FM. The order of these from left to right goes; cutoff, resonance, fm.
The only issues are that the battery cover is missing and the cap for the tune slide pot is missing.
