“Wonderful synth in great condition as can be seen in pics. Full working order. Was given a service when in the hands of the previous owner which is when the back plate sadly went missing.

I’ve had this for several years now and although it really does sound fantastic I rarely use it as I primarily source all my sounds from acoustic instruments. The bass is something else though, and not to be imitated or replaced… people always comment on the bass when used in recordings. The inherent noise adds so much texture and warmth, something you cant get on newer synths, not to this extent anyway.

I have some patch cables I will include and a copy of the manual.”

” I am the original owner of this keyboard and I like keeping my stuff clean. I am so anal about it. This is probably the best preserved Korg O1/W FD keyboard you will find on the internet. This is in such a pristine condition that it belongs in a museum. It is fully functional. All that is needed is a new battery. You can take it to Sam Ash to let them install the battery or you can do it yourself. But, that’s not required if you do not mind loading the sounds and programmed songs every time you turn the keyboard on. Also included are the original floppy disk, 7 floppy disks containing various sound banks, the original manuals, and a heavily padded case (see pictures). It’s the perfect find for someone who has a studio and likes keeping their stuff in mint condition.”

” A retro Korg 01/W Pro from the 1990s in good condition and with hard flight case. Excellent synth with many voices/sounds, multi track recorder, in-built floppy disk drive (for saving sounds and songs) and full midi control. Cost over £2,500 new, and hardly used for many years.

This is the model with the nicer-feeling keys and longer 76-note keyboard. The LCD screen works well (but backlight very dim as tends to happen to this model), and the right joystick spring gets a little stuck (note slide). Apart from that, this is in full working order with all keys working.

Never been gigged (just stored at home and transported to a church on weekends), although the flight case has some scratches as it went in and out of a car boot. “Korg Poly800 Vintage Analogue 8 Voice poly synth with Atomahawk capabilities.
I’m flogging this as there are a couple of issues but this is totally useable and still sounds
amazing so please read on.
Sound engine and all keys function as they should. The only issues are as follows;

1. When using the LFO stick on the left of the synth, it doesn’t physically stick but the LFO stays activated.
This has never been a problem for me as I don’t use it.

2. The ON/Volume knob is a bit iffy. Once you’ve switched it off, you’ll need a few attempts at switching
it back on. I just leave it up permanently and use the mains to switch on all my gear anyway, so again,
has never been an actual problem for me.

3.Now, this synth has the Atomahawk upgrade but I wanted to just use it in its original state so I
disconnected the unit inside the synth so that I could use the original parameters. This worked but a few
of the parameters numbers don’t correspond to the parameters board located on the top right of the synth.
To get around this i have put some sticky labels to remind me what numbers to punch in to change the

” This unit was released in 1986 and the highlights are 12bit,Analog Filter/envelope/VCA with 12 db or 24db filter mode and a pair of digital delays built in.Not only can it sample but is capable of additive synthesis and manually drawn waveforms.This unit is well worn, with discoloration and a white mark where it punched through some drywall(maybe?).The unit powers up fine and I have some disks I will include but I think the floppy might need to be replaced.It was working when I put it in storage 10 years ago but it won’t properly load Korg factory disks.If I get it working I will update this listing but for now it is sold AS-IS,in need of repair.I will ship this UPS ground within the contiguous U.S. only for a flat rate but I guarantee you it will cost me $130+ because of weight and size(it’s a tank).Packaged with bubble wrap, foam and heavy duty cardboard adult signature.”
