A few battle scars (photos) but in very good condition for the age. Only mod by me is replaced silly 2-pin mains socket for standard IEC 3-pin ‘kettle lead’. This Korg DW-8000 was bought from the band’s official ebay site ‘ningear’ back in 2009 when Nine Inch Nails sold their studio and tour gear after calling it quits (thankfully they reformed later!).

I’ve included the original pictures from the auction so you can compare or for a bit of reassurance this is a genuine sale. The serial number matches up with the serial from the listing. You can find numerous sites online still like NME which mention the band and selling their equipment through ningear. Has some age stains, a lot of surface blemishes and scratches,
but Nothing major. Just a Cosmetic issues.
Recently Serviced with a New 3V Battery and holder.
Replaced All 22 Top Panel Button Tact Switches.
All buttons, sliders, keys, OS system Tested and works Great,
except an Arpeggio Option.
ARPEGGIATOR mode Not working. Its a common and mostly unfixable DW-8000 problem.
Uploaded All Original Factory Sound patches.
All Keys works great ! Joystick 100% works.

The korg needs an internal battery replacement, Will have to hold down both the value UP and DOWN buttons together while turning on the unit and works fine when doing so. There is a small chip on the under side of one of the keys( doesn’t affect playability) comes with power cord and a lot of potential.
