“Korg DW6000 analog Synth/retro keyboard project.

Please note there are several issues with this keyboard,as such is been sold as a project,or to have service and issues resolved.

– It currently will not load the presets,

there is sound there but it does not change.

The parameters button is quite unresponsive,

is does work but takes several presses.

The keys seem to work OK and the parameters are changing as they should.

This is ideal for someone with a bit of knowledge,could be a simple fix… as all the sounds are there already.”

“Amazing sounding keyboard. Digital oscillators with analog filters and processing for a lovely rich tone. Dave Smith wants thousands for his same principled hybrid synths. All the keys work fine, and it seems fully operational. I prefer these to the dw8000 sister synths as do lots of people, they have a nicer tone. Condition wise it’s good. Few marks here and there which I’ve tried to show in the photos, but very good for such an old machine. It’s been well looked after. All keys and buttons working. Not trying to put you off, as they do 100% work but some of the menu diving buttons stick ever so slightly now and again and you have to press them twice. This is something inherent with these old machines, I’ve had 3. It’s just how they are, and I’m just trying to be as specific as possible. The patches I have created for it are very decent, and much better than the originals, but the original factory ones can be easily re-installed, though I’m not sure why you would want to. Up for auction is a working Korg DW-6000 Synthesizer with power cord and one midi cable. All keys are functioning as well as the preloaded sound data settings, volume, tuning and toggle for bending notes up and down, oscillating and vibrato. I am not sure how to work the programmer, so those functions have not been tested. Please see the video for a short overview of the basic functions and a few preprogrammed voices. (Please note that it may take up to 48 hours for ebay to review and post the video.) As seen in the photos, there are a stains on a few of the keys. These do not seem to come off with cleaning. ”

“I just had this serviced about 4 months ago at SWITCHED-ON in Austin Texas. New Battery and some of the number buttons replaced. This is in pretty great shape for a 35 year old synth. I reprogrammed most of the original presets using the enclosed printout of the preload program list. Really much easier to program than my DX-7. Sometimes the number buttons need to be pressed twice to enter the number or sometimes you press once and the number enters in twice – this has always been an issue with this model as well as the Poly-800 and DW-8000.
