“PHYSICAL CONDITION: Very Good – In great condition. This is a vintage item so there are some signs of wear. Most of the slider caps are missing but all sliders are intact. The keys are intact and play fine but as seen in photos they are not entirely even, which is typical of these ARP synths. Otherwise, everything is intact, looking very nice, and ready for more use. The overall physical condition is excellent. WORKING CONDITION: Very Good – All keys are working though the lowest C squeaks a little when pressed rapidly, this is mechanical and not heard through the audio outputs. All push-button switches and their LED indicators are in perfect working order. All controls in all sections are working great. Output and control i/O are working great as well. “I have owned this ARP Quartet from new and it has been well looked after and the condition of the wooden and metal casing and paintwork is very good for the age. It has always been stored in its original box but the box is looking very worn now. There is a small area of flaked off paint on the rear of the keyboard that is visible in one of the photos. The sound is very good but there are two issues that i can see that you might want to get sorted if you purchased the keyboard. The volume slider dosen’t adjust the volume any longer so i adjust the volume via my amp so i have never bothered to get it fixed. All sounds and effects work except for the celest on the organ section. The slider has come loose and the celest sound is permanently off. “This unit was disassembled, cleaned inside and out, meticulously serviced, with some future-proofing measures and fully and repeatedly tested by vintage synth specialists with decades of experience (us). This process required 22 hours of skilled labor. The result is an ARP 2601 that is much better than the rest. Don’t settle for less / get what you pay for.

This unit is working perfect, is ready to play, and will hopefully outlast all others.

This unit came to us without a keyboard, which is no problem for most people because it’s better to control it with an external midi to CV converter. This way, it can be played by your MIDI DAW or whatever midi controller you use with it. If you need an original arp 2600 keyboard to go with it, we have a model 3604 that we can sell you – email us.

In addition to any repairs, we did the following work to this unit:

-Fully disassembled, cleaned inside and out.
-Power supply rebuilt: new capacitors and trimpots.
-All tantalum capacitors replaced (these are a common source of failure in ARPs).
-All sliders and switches cleaned and lubricated.
-Cleaned Cinch-Jones connectors.
-Recalibrated.

climate controlled studio except for tuning and upgrades.

It was fully tuned and calibrated in March 2021.

This is an Arp 2600 in great condition.

Not only is the exterior and Tolex in great condition, the electronics are also in great condition,

and all features work. Every key on the keyboard plays without glitches or drifting.

Every slider, pot and jack work. All hardware on the cases and the Tolex covering are original.

A matching 3620 keyboard is also in great shape and plays perfectly.

“ARP Odyssey MkIII (vintage) in OK condition: some scuffs at the edges (see pics) but the face plate is very nice. Recently serviced:

– All faders opened and cleaned, re-lubricated. Feels and work very well.

– New keyboard bushings.

– New parts in the PSU.

– Sub-Osc mod, the “VCA Gain” fader now controls the volume of a sub-oscillator (copied from a SH101).

– AR fast/slow mod to make the AR-envelope faster.

– Free run mod: choose if the LFO shall re-trigger on every new note or if it should run free.

– Timothy Smith Filter mod, which makes the filter open up more
