“It is a compact polyphonic synthesizer with looks reminiscent of Prophet. It was launched in the mid 1980’s, with MIDI installed while manufacturing in this age, patch memory 64 sounds, 8 voice specifications. With a flat design with almost no knobs etc. after DX 7, there is a white board in the center of the body, you can write notes such as patches. It is now difficult to edit sounds, but the sound is an analog sound like SCI.

“Vintage Casio CZ-101 in great condition. I tested this and it seems to be in excellent working order. Includes a silver Casio soft case that looks like something a 1980’s astronaut would use. “I bought this years ago from a local high school surplus auction. I purchased a new power supply for it and used it off and on just at home. Very easy to get lost in this machine for hours. I have not used it for about a year now and it is time to let go. I set it up prior to writing this description. The unit functions very well. I sprayed some Deoxit Fader Lube in the faders however the switches should still be treated too. The octave selector is the scratchiest but it works on all levels. All modes work, all keys work. Small crack on top of pitch control. Included is the power adapter (not original although it is the correct one) and original box minus the packing. Unit will be shipped in a separate box to keep the original intact. This is a vintage electronic item and has not been used regularly or serviced. Even though it is working I can not offer a warranty on this item. It is being sold as-is due to age. I can however guarantee that it will NOT be DOA.”
