“Vintage ARP Odyssey MKII 2810 Analog Synth
This is an early MKII and had the desirable “Lawsuit” 4035 Filter
It has been completely restored with the following work:
Thoroughly cleaned inside and out
All sliders replaced with new
All Trimmer Pots replaced with new
All Polarized Capacitors replaced with new
External Input and High Output RCA jacks replaced with 1/4” Switchcraft Jacks
Pratt Read Keyboard Bushings replaced and lubed with the proper release compound.
Keyboard leveled and J-Wires adjusted.
Full Calibration to Factory Spec
This Odyssey sounds fantastic. The 4035 Filter really shines.
As an added bonus any of the following useful modifications will be made at the buyer’s request:
Convert +/- 2 Octave Switch to +/- 1 Octave
Single Trigger / Multi Trigger Switch (added to rear panel)
Mono-phonic / Duo-phonic Switch (added to rear panel)
LFO Free Run Switch (added to rear panel)
These are all modifications that I prefer that really improve the Odyssey. I never understood the +/- 2 Octave Switch. The shift is too great to be used in performance. Multi-Triggering is great for many sounds but not for every sound. Legato lines are a must. The duo-phonic keyboard makes it impossible for some keyboard techniques. Sometimes you need Mono-Phonic. Again, having the LFO reset with each Trigger is desirable but not always. A slow LFO modulating the Filter Frequency should not reset. It should run free. ” Click here to search for synths on eBay
