The instrument is in great working condition. All of the features function as they should. I bought this instrument in 2007 and it was serviced in 2012. That said, you’ll likely have to scale and tune this instrument. If you don’t know what that means, this instrument is likely not for you.
I am including a Kenton Pro Solo MKII MIDI box that allows you to send MIDI to this pre-MIDI-era vintage instrument and integrate it into a digital/MIDI setup. It is a great solution that I have used extensively with great results HOWEVER, this is some seriously nerdy stuff. This is NOT plug and play and I want to make absolutely sure you understand that. That said, if you are a connaisseur, this is a MAJOR added feature with endless possibilities.
In terms of the cosmetic condition, the front panel is excellent and so are the keys and the bed. The back panel is also excellent. PLEASE NOTE that the wood has some considerable flaws that were already there when I bought this instrument. All of the issues are documented in the photos. The left back wood panel has some signifcant damage, and the side has some scratching and other signs of wear. The right side panel looks better, and the front looks great. All of this considered, I am not selling this as pristine condition and so I have priced it accordingly.”
