“This listing is for a Vintage 1970’s Roland RS-101 Strings Synthesizer. This Roland synth was made in Japan around 1975. The RS101 is of the simplest and basic analog synths made. The unit has two basic sounds Strings & Brass and despite the simple design this synth can make some very usable and cool tones. The synth is mostly works and there are a few keys that have no sound which are A1, A#2, C2 and A3. Then D#1 plays at about half volume as the rest and E4 plays at about a quarter volume as the rest. I’m not sure why or how hard it would be to fix the keys, I assume the key is not making an internal contact and hopefully it’s a fixable problem but the buyer needs to be aware of the issue. The unit otherwise works and all the upper controls and sliders are working properly. The unit comes as pictured with the top cover and is a nice portable synth. There is an added latch on the back of the unit to keep the cover securely on. The unit shows cosmetic wear consistent with it’s age. Please look at the pictures and message with questions. Because this is listed with some issues and is not 100% functional I am selling this AS-IS with no returns or refunds. ” Click here to visit listing on eBay
