“For sale is a rare vintage Sequential Circuits Prophet 5 Rev 2 61-Key 5-Voice Analog Polyphonic Synthesizer. The Rev 2’s tend to be the most coveted holy grail version of the Prophet 5 due to the design implementing SSM chips rather than later Prophet 5 Rev 3’s Curtis chips. The Rev 2’s have a more raw, bold aggressive sound that some consider to be the real classic tone that a P5 should have. This one is tested and fully functional. Previous owner bought it from a synth shop that tends to refurbish all their items for sale so it’s likely been gone through as needed in the past. Includes high quality dust cover.
