“Here we have my Sequential Circuits Prophet 2000 which is sadly not in the greatest of health. I’ve owned it for over 10 years, done some gigs, lots of recording she’s served me well. A few months ago I powered it up after not using it for a while and the display showed no power. Flicked it off and back on again and it powered up but no sound. Every other function works. You can select and load sounds, arp works and will control other synths over midi keyboard likewise. With the volume cranked you can hear a click that should be the sound . The filter will even have effect on this click. It has the gotek floppy emulator which has always worked perfectly and has been in it a good 5 years which I retro fitted fairly neatly. It also comes with an original manual which is a binder type and is massively useful and as a bonus was signed by the man who wrote all the sequential manuals Stanley Jungleib. I also have a sound library of about 200 discs on memory card and about 20 odd floppy’s. I’ll be very sad to see it go but I just don’t have the time or resources to fix it and am in need of something functional to replace it with.
