“I have owned this Moog for 30 years. I am not a musician and don’t know how all the functions work. I am an Electronics Technician.
At power on, it will not produce sound until the “Programmable Volume” control is rotated. This could be normal, I’m not sure.
After that it is functioning ok. Rotating all the controls will get results on the numeric display along with changes in sound.
I have set it up every 10 years or so to play with. I am always amazed at the sounds it makes while trying different settings.
I can get sounds that take me back to my ELP, Synergy and Switched on Bach album days in the 70’s.
Overall its in great cosmetic condition. I just replaced the foam in the case because the old foam was bad.
I also just replaced the memory backup battery, the old battery was dead.
The keys work good, one key has a small crack but is stable, 6th white key from the left.
The following has not been tested, MIDI, foot peddles, Memory functions.
When “Auto Tune” is pushed most lights go out and come back on after 10 seconds, display shows same indication as before.
All controls function on the 3 main oscillators. Some push buttons require pushing harder to get light to come on.
