“This is a vintage Korg MS-10 that will be sold for parts/not working. A really neat vintage synthesizer that’s just waiting to be restored! The little functions that do work on the unit seem cool. The synth powers on – all keys work, (even the broken one key one) and from what I can tell, all parameters work. But the synth sounds to be unregular. No matter what way the parameters are twisted, the sound you get is always the same – sustained note that glides up and down. It’s as if the synth is stuck on some self-oscillation cycle. Pots are pretty scratchy as well – needs a good clean and repair. Also tried running an external signal through the synth and got nothing.
